Brother Grimm
It's the same with the signing incoming stuff, should be on the clubs official page first.

Or Marshall? Or Mitchell?

Fans will be looking to see that they are going to be available this week. It's worth a line on the OS, that's all.

The newsworthy thing was that they hadn’t come through in time for the game. And the only place I saw that mentioned before kick-off was on the live updates. It would have been quite easy to say on the OS that clearance hadn’t come though in time for Saturday (ideally before the game, but afterwards would have been fine) that the club fully expected it the following week and that it would be unprecedented not to be received within a week. Then I don’t think anybody would have mentioned it this week.
BeeJay
Another good interview with a local boy in Chaplain's Corner. Nice to hear from local lads who have a burning desire to play for their local team. Hopefully we encourage this by giving them game time. I'd rather see them playing than some of the journey men we end up with!

No point in making the team poorer just to include local players though I would suggest.
Alex Nesovic's Barmy Army
Rather we had the better players. Quality before their place of birth or how many teams they played for before us. ALOREBURNE
Would have took a point before the game but must say it’s annoying to take the lead twice and blow it.

Fae_the_'briggs
That defence looked very fragile, not greatly impressed with Ledger and Kilday looked rusty. Playing most of the match with 10 men + Oliver, a draw is ok. You don't really appreciate how bad the conditions were however until you get out of the stadium.
Monkey Tennis
Thank God Thistle got beaten, but relying on that every week isn't the best strategy. Of our games in hand, today's was more winnable looking than the Inverness one. It seems we might well have won each of the last three games. Instead, we've taken one point from them. Does that suggest we're competitive at this level, and are due a rub of the green? Or does it mean we're too spineless to win games, and are once more set to plummet? I really thought the turning point was the pen save great to see Stewart save something then to go 2-1 up with 20 to go and not see the game out sums up our season . Would also have taken a point before the game . Brownlie is a huge miss have to hope Ledger can step up and be as good as Brownlie . Semple could be as good as Brownlie but for some reason AJ will not play him

We needed to score 11 goals to win those three games. You can’t concede goals at that rate and expect to stay up.
palmy_cammy
It's not quite panic stations just yet but I think we are in trouble. Pre-January you would have said that the midfield was our weak link and that we looked in reasonable shape elsewhere. I now feel like we have problems in all areas of the park, and I just don't have the confidence in Johnston rectifying it. We now have a much poorer goalkeeper. That's just a plain fact. How much poorer I don't know, he hasn't done a huge amount wrong but it's still a worry. Leaking goals as we are at present is never a good sign, but it has been a time of upheaval for the defence with Brownlie and McCrorie moving on and Mercer and Kilday being out injured. Hopefully we will see a more settled look to the defence in the next few weeks which should in theory improve things. I'm not sure throwing Devine straight into the mix has been AJ's greatest decision but with Semple clearly well out of the picture it looks like something we are going to have to get used to. Having an experienced partner in Kilday should at least help Devine (again in theory). The midfield has at least improved with the addition of Wilson but it is still very workmanlike and lacking in creativity or natural wide men. Up front, whilst we are scoring goals we still look disjointed and lacking in any clear structure. The 4-3-3 system doesn't seem to suit any of our attack minded players, but is used more out of necessity due to our lack of wingers. Worst of all, Johnston is not getting the best out of Dobbie which is absolutely criminal. On paper I think we have a squad that is good enough to scrape 7th or 8th but I also think we have an arrogant and stubborn manager who is tactically weak and poor at motivating the players. If we stick with him I think 9th is the best we can hope for.

Of course we'll be relegated if we don't stem the flow of goals shipped. I'm not one for seeing the glass as half full. I was simply making the point that Queens have been very much 'in' these games they've taken little from.
BeeJay
One point out of nine is not good under any circumstances. Our last three games we should be winning. This afternoon's performance, in horrendous conditions, was at least better than last week. However every time the ball goes near our keeper I worry, but more to the point so do the defenders. Okay he saved a penalty, but it was poorly taken. I actually thought the new boys played well, but Oliver is a waste of space, Kilday was off the pace, and only the Manager can tell us why Semple is only there to make up the bench. Yes not panic stations yet but Omodium is on standby!
Kunter
Panic will kick in once Partick eventually find first gear, if they ever do. We need a consistent starting 11 for a few games. Been too many changes forced and self inflicted which isn't helping. Like others have said, Hamilton needs to start up front with Dobbie and can Semple really be any worse ?

He will learn and maybe one day become a good defender but at what cost to Queens . Semple should be playing he must be wondering what the hell have I got to do to play . We have far to many changes just now we have to hope that the new players get up to speed quickly

H'es clearly in very poor shape for a young professional footballer and only he can sort this out. If he doesn't, he will be in real danger of dropping out of the professional game altogether.
