I’m more sad because it’s another local lad that never quite got a chance. I think he’s decent but could do with dropping down a level to get consistent games and build a bit of confidence. He might go on to be great but I saw nothing much in him in his fleeting appearances for Ayr or his games with Raith against us in the playoff final last year. He's been nowhere near getting regular game time with Ayr. Tiffoney looked like a decent prospect in his Morton days though. I doubt either player was on our radar (we couldn't take another loan from Livi anyway).
