I was merely speculating that should he be looking to return I'd imagine we'd be near the bottom of a fairly long list of suitors. If we were to re-sign any of the class of 2012, something that seems to have been talked about almost from the minute they all left, I would imagine Ian McShane might be the most likely? Out of the picture at St Mirren and in an area of the park we badly need strengthened. I was far from convinced by him but there is no denying he would be an improvement on what we have at the moment. Looks like Mcshane is heading to Falkirk.

Signed 18 month deal this morning with Falkirk.

19QOS19
Motherwell fan here, what’s your opinions on Lyndon dykes and how likely would he be to leave for us?What are you after is the real question. If you need someone to win flick-ons, harass opposition defenders and link between midfield and up front then he'd be a good addition. If you're after a goalscorer, a player who'll physically bully the opposition or hold the ball up, then he isn't what you want. I reckon a half decent offer would be accepted by the club and Dykes certainly wouldn't look back.
JessieField
Anybody know how close some of our players are to suspension? Yellow cards etc., Jacobs must be getting near a suspension?

SUPERSOUTH
Would much rather have another striker upfront with Dobbie that is composed in front of goal than Dykes who has a nose bleed anytime he is in front of goal, or passes when he should shoot, Lyndon has improved this season but don't think he would be missed cause then we might play ball along the ground because we just long ball upto him and feed of scraps from headers he doesn't even win very often... The team plays best l when the ball is passed along the ground not head tennis. Edited January 3, 2019 by SUPERSOUTH

Are there many teams with two good goal scorers in the Championship?

Huge loss NO, a loss to the squad Yes, Dykes splits the fans, I think he has improved but is only an average championship player. 17 minutes ago, Brother Grimm said: Are there many teams with two good goal scorers in the Championship? Not really seeing that in the stats.1. Shankland - 182. Dobbie - 153. McKay - 124. Sarfranko - 85. Rudden - 65. Flanagan - 65. Mullen - 68. White - 58. Spittal - 58. Todd - 5Ross County and Queens the only teams with two on that list? Morton don’t even have a player on the list?Dykes needs to do better in front of goal, but it’s absolute fantasy island stuff that other teams have more than one getting a decent number of goals.
