The 26 year-old played for Aberdeen from 2010 and had loan spells with Forfar Athletic and Alloa Athletic. Low signed for Dundee in 2015 and had made 24 appearances for the Scottish Premiership club. Derry, who are managed by former Kilmarnock boss Kenny Shiels, stated that it is just unfortunate that Nicky could never stay fit enough to become a regular of late. He is not signed on loan think he has signed a 6 month contract with Queens .. Hopefully he stays fit with us is he a defensive midfielder

Have we signed someone injury prone to solve our thin squad problem?

He was always injured at Aberdeen and Dundee. Played 57 games over the last 2 seasons at Derry, but missed a chunk of time with a Hernia last season. He's been training with Morton to keep fit since the end of the Irish season.

Morton weren't ruling out making an offer for him. From my limited knowledge of their squad, midfield isn't an area requiring improvement though.
Ludo*1
Nicky Low brings a new meaning to injury prone. I don't think there's been a single season in his whole career that hasn't been hugely affected by injury. -

Hawk
Welcome on board Nicky Low, I think he could be an upgrade on Harkins who's ego didn't like not being the "kingpin"

If we're short of bodies, the idea of bringing in someone who's often unfit isn't that appealing. Let's see.

Harkins was out injured twice in about a 4 month spell, if Low stays fitter longer than that it's an improvement.

19QOS19
That’d be a disaster. I'm sure if he left he'd be accused of being a disruptive influence and it'd be pointed out he wasn't very good anyway and his wage could go towards a striker or a creative midfielder...

die hard doonhamer
If we lose Dykes we'll be getting a fee, which we should then use to buy Blair Henderson from Edinburgh City.

He's exactly the type of signing we should be trying to make.
