Our poor PA is a dealbreaker I reckon. Players want to hold a scarf when they sign.

Heard today that Alloa are reducing the width of their pitch by 9 metres to assist as a leveller against the leagues full time sides.

Think that was mentioned on their thread about a fortnight ago tbh but didn't know it was narrowed as much as that.  Cue more kick-outs from our keeper flying out of the park.

Adam Livingstone being lined up for a loan switch from Motherwell.

Never heard of him .

Gavin Reilly is now looking for a club why not make a good offer Reilly could be our main forward for years to come but it seems we shop in the pound shop only getting a special offer like Harkins and Todd every so often .

Be realistic here. Can make the offer but he will be at a far bigger club than us come the start of season. Hopefully the club do have a few names up their sleeve though. And the centenary year can be one to be remembered.

You seem intent on putting the club in debt.  Yes we could mount a serious effort to sign Reilly,  offer him big money to keep him here for "years to come", what happens if/when we need to replace Dobbie or have to replace 2 or 3 players next season?  Try and scrape up more cash because we've paid it all out to sign Reilly.?  Fair enough if we could get outside finance as with Dobbie but the simple fact is that we are left at Matalan level of purchases,  not even M&S level never mind Saville Row.  Harkins probably won't be on a small wage either which maybe took a fair skelp of the budget. (guessing here)

Gavin maybe has a bit of ambition to play at as high a level as he can and coming to Queens wouldn't help in that respect.

Know and agree with what you've said but it is nice to dream. The thought of Gav and Dobbie up top is exciting.

Heard it many times from various folk that Dobbie is the best paid player in the Championship .

Okay he is a great player but can we afford to pay him top wages.

Does most of Queens  budget go on Dobbie wages

It never ceases to amaze me how many experts there are from our support and opposing supports who know all about how much Dobbie earns and how it is funded.
Dont know about everyone else but we know cos Houstie told us all at an AGM mind
