I'm not even doing this c**t the decency of deleting his name. It's his profile pic anyway.

Surprisingly stumbled across this well rounded, reasonable gent in an Snp comment page ranting on about Nikoliar being a lying bitch.

I hate this country sometimes.

Was the queen born in 1690?

Definite proof she's a shape shifting lizard imo.

....Facebook is bad guy reporting in again...

Channel four news reporting that the teams or software companies behind the elections in the states are manipulating data at the rate of six million times per second within social media.

I'm guessing that if you get into looking for anti trump or anti Biden or vice versa then hey presto your feed gets bumraped.

See maw I told you it was dem dare immgants again

Stv saying that social media has had a destructive effect on young women during lockdown.

I kinda disagree about the big bad social media stuff.

It's content is mostly controllable by the user and it's not mandatory.

If it is fucking with anyone so bad they need to stop using it.

I know it isnae great though

I'm largely with you on this one. If you don't follow/befriend idiots and you stay away from comments on public pages then social media can be a pleasant and beneficial experience.

Young people are growing up with this as an integral part of socialising though. It's easy for older folk just to say switch it off. Bit more difficult I suspect when you might get ostracised at school for being the only one not to have it.

I'm in my 30s and have never used facebook or twitter. Even folk my age find it odd I dont use it and might not know the tawdry wee bits of gossip going about. You can probably multiply that by 1000 for angst ridden 15 year olds.
