This is the suicide stuff posters are banging on about:

Thanks to ** for the nomination Let's do this for 75% of all suicides, that are committed by men, too many already have been taken way too soon!
We can’t keep letting this slip by us, be strong, be there for each other and please never be afraid to speak up or try and reach out to anyone, even myself!

#ChallengeAccepted #24hours
(If I didn't tag you, please don't be offended, I tried to pick people who I thought would take part)

All too often, some men find it easier to
criticize each other or themselves instead of building each other up, with all the negativity going around, lets do something positive!!

Upload 1 picture of yourself... ONLY you.
Then tag 10 or more men to do the same. Build yourself and everyone around you up instead of tearing yourself/ others down COPY AND PASTE

If I tagged you, don't disappoint me, you better do it!! Let's go...

Seems like absolute pish, was meaning to post in PTTGOYN earlier.

There’s a girlpower equivalent going round as well.

these sort of things go round all the time but normally only 1 or 2 on my friends list do it,  I guess lockdown has started to destroy brain cells that much that now a lot more are finding this absolute pish something to join in with

Agreed - it’s very insincere indeed and makes very little sense. It’s not really much of a challenge either, at least the toilet roll challenge involved an activity that could bring a little bit of fun to the situation. Nobody will tag me in it anyway so I‘m not worried about it.

It is now the turn of the binmen

Quote

Most will just scroll past this maintaining their snobby view on the bin man but let me tell you from personal experience of being a binman with these guys they are some of the best characters I've ever come across!! Its not a job for the faint hearted up in the early hours walking 10+ miles shifting tons of waste each day working their bodies to the bone and willing to go the extra mile for the elderly/ disabled. Most residents will smile and be polite when they want a little extra taking away for free until they meet these chaps in traffic 😂😂 the up most respect for these guys and girls carrying on the task of keep our streets from becoming rat infested slums. Just a little respect goes a long way.

Stay safe guys, you are valued!!! 🚛🇬🇧♥️

More look at me pish

I’m adding this to my status so every year it will pop up on my memories. This is so I will NEVER forget the way the world changed in 2020...

Queen Elizabeth II [emoji146] addressed the nation at 8pm on Sunday 5th April. Shortly after this the UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson was admitted to hospital himself with Covid-19

The PM had previously implemented a lockdown across the country on the evening of Monday 23rd of March 2020 [emoji732]️

Excel in London is now known as the NHS Nightingale and will be a hospital for up to 4,000 patients, most of whom are on ventilators suffering from Coronavirus (Covid-19). Similar venues being are being used in cities across the country. Opened by Prince Charles at 11am Friday 3rd April.

From Thursday 26th March at 8pm and every Thursday night thereafter, we all stood united on our doorsteps, balconies and open windows and applauded and cheered for all our amazingly brave NHS staff [emoji1433][emoji1433][emoji1433] who so courageously and selflessly battled on to try and save as many lives as possible [emoji3590]

Every airline [emoji3575] grounded either all or at least 85% of its fleet. All crew were grounded and some used their skills to work for the NHS in Nightingale Hospital, the Ambulance Service, 111 telephone handlers or community support.

Air pollution improved. Rivers cleaned up. City & traffic emissions reduced. [emoji3534]

Parks [emoji904] trails, entire cities [emoji539] closed or restricted to locals who can get there by foot. Not permitted to drive anywhere to exercise.

Entire sports [emoji460]️ [emoji464] [emoji462] seasons cancelled. No Wimbledon, no end to the Premiership, no Boat Race, no London Marathon. A virtual Grand National was held on 4th April 2020.

Singers and bands played live sets on their driveways or on their balconies for all to hear [emoji1415]

Households that can’t see their friends and loved ones come together across the country by using Zoom or Houseparty to play games or host pub quiz nights.

No masses, churches [emoji547]️ are closed [emoji724]

No gatherings of 50 or more, then 20 or more, then 10 or more. Now, don’t socialise with anyone outside of your home [emoji3540]

Children's outdoor play parks are closed [emoji565]

We are to distance from each other. Shortage of masks [emoji40] gowns [emoji3065] gloves [emoji3451] for our front-line workers.

Shortage of ventilators for the critically ill [emoji855] in many parts of the world. Formula 1 racing teams and Virgin Galactic designed and produced ventilators in the space of a week.

64,727 deaths globally so far as at 4 April 2020. 4,313 in the UK.

This is the Novel Coronavirus [emoji3083] (Covid-19) Pandemic, WHO declared March 11th, 2020.

Why, you ask, do I write this status?

One day it will show up in my memory [emoji189] feed, and it will be a yearly reminder that life is precious and not to take the things we dearly love for granted [emoji177]

We have so much we need to appreciate that we take for granted.
Be thankful. Be grateful [emoji18]
Be kind to each other - love one another - support everyone [emoji3059]

We are all one! Stay home, stay safe. [emoji3590]

Copy and share.
