EdgarusQPFC Posted March 9, 2017 Share Posted March 9, 2017 So to promote the new season they decided to do a live reveal on facebook, an idea which on paper sounded cool but in practice was a fucking disaster. The idea is that for every comment saying "FIRE" they would blow flames at a huge wall of ice, behind which is a sign hiding the date. For every comment a maybe 5 second puff of flame would happen. After 10 minutes of a single flame they realised they were getting nowhere. Feed cuts for a minute they are back with 2 flames, 7 more minutes of that they have barely made an impact. Feed cuts again they are back with 3 flames and rather than puffs they are just going full blast on this ice. Another 10 minutes or so they finally bust the ice and reveal a rather anti climatic 16.07.17 release date. I think the blue eye at the end is just paying lip service to the fan theories this whole world is set inside a giants blue eye. Either winter has arrived at Kings landing or Cersei has taken up the crack pipe. No idea where Arya is, Dany's entourage looks like they could be really far south, possibly in Oldtown along with Sam and Gilly? Then you see Varys with a fur collar, so maybe not.
