He’s here because it’s the only forum where he can get some sort of reaction, even just to confirm that he exists. He seems to have ambitions to be Dunfermline’s Chemical Ali.

All clubs have their share of knuckle draggers, Falkirk and Dunfermline are no different. There is no place in the game for chants and songs regarding death, disabilities, addictions, homophobia etc. Clubs can only do so much to try and prevent, but do all clubs do enough, not IMO Absolutely, couldn't agree more. (also agree with the rest of your post Fwiw, but just on this point) However just because someone claims an incident has happened, doesn't mean it has. Falkirk fans more than most will be acutely aware of this after the Dennon Lewis incident? I might be getting my wires crossed but was a Falkirk fan (s?) accused of racial abuse, on here posters hadn't heard or seen anything and were quite vexed at the stance the club ended up taking, and in the end it was a load of bollocks and the club had to apologise? If anything is wrong there feel free to say. Now in this situation there's a poster making a pretty big accusation, that forty people were outside TFS singing horrible songs about Gowans. Now, despite being at the game I never seen or heard anything, knowing loads of people at the game they also seen and heard nothing. As well as that forty people doing that would be a talking point right? Surely someone would've mentioned it on the thread on here? Pars or Falkirk fan? At both games this season fan behaviour has been posted about quite allot, and despite that absolutely nothing, until now has been posted about this? If the shoe was on the other foot and the accusation was about Falkirk fans would you accept the story as 100% genuine from a random poster? Not a chance. -
SouthStander1876
I was just saying what I had heard while we were on the topic. Unfortunately this sort of thing is all too common in Scottish Football, so I just assumed everyone was aware it would be going on. Don't know what I could possibly gain from lying about this and I also dont know what point you're trying to prove here as if this is so unfathomable.

I never heard anything about Norris McCathie at the Pars games I attended, but that doesn’t make me immediately defend our support at all costs and deny that it happened…..

Maybe with dicks on twitter but I don't think it's very common at all for people to sing those types of songs at games. The only time I see it as a Dunfermline fan is for games against Falkirk, with the game at TFS being the first time I'd seen/heard so many people sing it. Normally it's just the occasional dick head/v, v small group Is it a spill over from social media? Maybe. I've said it before but I don't miss the games when we're not in the same league, there's far too much shite behaviour that goes with the game. I have no idea what you'd gain, likewise what did Dennon Lewis gain? People making up stories or accusations isn't a new thing. It's beyond me why people do it. It's pretty unfathomable that forty people were outside TFS singing that song and this is the first it's been mentioned, forty people is a big whack, that songs as bad as it gets, I just don't see it passing without any sort of comment. If it had happened I do wish you had emailed the club, whether that be Falkirk of Dunfermline. If it had been next to a police van there hopefully would've been some evidence to get a few stadium bans on the go. You may think it's common but it's not acceptable, if it's a big group you won't gain much from challenging it, however if clubs get enough correspondence they'll hopefully start dishing out telts. Which is why it would be nice for a statement of some sort to head off the behaviour which is undoubtedly about to come back around. -

He's certainly got the worst haircut in Scottish football .
