Sputnik
1 hour ago, Duncan Freemason said: There is no artificial surface that holds a candle to a top quality grass pitch. The EPL where it’s not about economy or making money from the surface is grass all the way. A few years back, I was part a tour of the Arsenal stadium (including a walk out to the centre spot. That pitch was like a bowling green…..absolute perfection. Your points re budgets etc are true but many top flight pitches, including Arsenal's, are hybrids of grass and synthetic. The grass and artificial fibres intertwine which helps it drain better and cut up less. Think Elton John's barnet, but greener

mic_17_uk
Did that Kirkpatrick lad no score at TFS for Alloa to effectively relegate us? Goodwin was jumping around like a fanny.

Tea and Busquets
To beat Montrose away and Aberdeen at home, they aren’t going to be mugs. We need to play and prepare professionally and it’s a great chance for a one game shoot out for a place at Hampden
latapythelegend
Won't be easy, that certainly wasn't back to the walls. Darvel played some lovely stuff. Can see tickets going quick for this

FFC 1876
Fair few Falkirk connections in that Darvel team, Cameron Eadie, the stocky right sided centre back, came through our academy as did their assistant manager Blair Munn and then there's shitebag Mcshane. Don't think our midfield will allow them as much of the game as Aberdeen did tonight.

He's done okay for us after a sticky start I'd say. Yet to prove himself at any level above league one though mind you. Not sure i'd be spending a right few quid on him and I've heard his wages at rangers are pretty high for a young player. bridge of allan bairn
Aberdeen were very poor, but that darvel side have some quality. They are also at home. Did I hear the owner saying pre game the changes they made to the ground meant it could hold 4000?
bairn88
What a fucking belting turn of events. TV money game guaranteed, and a genuine chance of a Scottish cup quarter. Aye, there’s a real chance they’ll beat us, but there’s a real chance we’ll beat them. Only downside is it might be a Monday night or something, but a small price to pay. Get in.

Jamie Glasgow as well who is from the Falkirk area (not sure if he ever played for us though?)

Saturday, Feb 11th according to the BBC. TBH I was hoping for an Aberdeen win as that would at least pay us some money and a defeat wouldn't give us a big riddy! I must be turning into a shitebag in my auld age!
