Wouldn’t make sense from a Falkirk perspective imo. 2 very different players

Him and another would be fine but Weston himself doesn't look to me to be a good fit for a lone striker.

You've got to wonder why rangers would recall him though. He's playing regularly, scoring goals and seems to be enjoying himself . Chances of him getting anywhere near the rangers side are very slim. His other loan spells haven't been great and now they're cutting this one short when he's doing well.  Doesn't make sense to me.

Absolutely gutted. He had a bit of pace, he was physical and his finishing was improving all the time. Rough around the edges, of course he was, but a very decent player at this level. I hope all is ok with him personally. He always gave 100% which is more than can be said for half the players we’ve had in recent years!

Complete guess but cutting it short based on compassionate leave possibly.

Don't want to act like a guy who's claiming to know any players. But I can say for a fact one has been talking about Alegria leaving to other people. Whether it transpires or not we will find out.

Guess I'm confirmed ITK ;)

2 strikers, a centre midfielder and another winger if we're being greedy this month.

Would be fine with Weston and another especially if he can play out wide.

Hopefully Lawal's not out for much longer, FTV boys if you're watching get an update on the big man please.

In the camp of thinking he’s a small loss, but he’s far from irreplaceable. I hope if there are any personal reasons involved that he’s okay, he’s still a young guy. Others have mentioned some good names on here the last few days and you’d really hope McGlynn’s connections would get us somewhere. Fingers crossed.

I expected very little of Alegria, and after his first few games I wasn’t too impressed. He turned out to be much better than Oliver, Wilson, Ruth, Keena, Ompreon etc, and that’s with him directly competing for starts with Burrell. He seemed quite a passionate lad and gave everything. Clearly still a lot of developing to do if he hopes to play at a level higher than league 1.

He is a loss, but nothing like irreplaceable  and given McGlynn’s reasonably strong record of recruitment so far I’m confident we’ll get a good replacement.

Agree with all of this.

That said, downgrade though it is, at least we do have Oliver. We should no longer see him in midfield, and don't have to alter the style too much whilst we wait on hopefully getting a physical guy in as a like for like.

The 4-0 game against Airdrie he looked especially clueless, never thought I'd say I'd be gutted he's away.

Hopefully the big man sorts out whatever has happened.

Euan Henderson come on down.

Definitely a confidence player I think. Once he scored his first goal he grew into the team.
