The Falkirk FC Thread

Played really well but the goal shows why McgLynn brought in a new Lb and is actively wanting a new Rb, good goal from Williamson that moves been on all game but just hasn’t committed to driving towards goal enough.

Oliver on for Hetherington immediately.

Anyone seen that former Celtic starlet Nesbitt.

I'd hoped for at least him and Hetherington out of today's squad and although Hetherington hasn't been as invisible as Nesbitt and done aok today, we should have better in there.

Morrison and Williamson having decent games but don't think Morrison should be up top for me.

We really should be a few goals clear here. Playing some really good stuff and completely dominating but it’s just typical Falkirk that we concede the first time Peterhead look at our goal. Great equaliser from Williamson though who’s arguably having his best game for us so far.

Peterhead are offering absolutely nothing in the game as well yet go in having opened the scoring. They started with a 4-5-1 then moved to a back 3 after the drinks break but it’s no really had any effect as we’ve still been in almost complete control.

Alegria is woeful. Boy just hasn’t got it at all, flings himself to the deck all the time and his movement up front is absolutely horrendous. Morrison playing much better than last week and genuinely looming threatening growing forward. Nesbitt is trying far too hard. He’s be class at fives btw but on an 11 aside game he really struggles to make much impact. Think McGinn is having a really poor game again. Slowing the game down far too much and his use of the ball has been very poor.

All in all that 45 minutes was a massive upgrade on the last few weeks. We’re winning this game.

That’s why I’d keep Morrison in the team ahead of some of the other lot where we are at the moment, he’s inconsistent but can come up with moments of real quality the others can’t. great goal.

The goal was superb. A lung bursting run from McCann made the space for Morrison and it was a great moment of quality.

Mccann had two men to mark at the back post due to Morrison sitting on the half way line? When the goal went in Yeats(who tried his best to help Mccann out) turned and screamed at Morrison to ask where he was.
