Kenny_m
Whilst aware that Telfer seemed to split Falkirk fans but looking at McGinn, Nesbitt & Hetherington yesterday, surely he's better than them?

McGinn has been really good so far, Nesbit and Heatherington I’d put on par with Telfer. None of the three are good enough and need to be punted, thankfully we were able to get shot of Telfer but unfortunately are still stuck with the other two! Duncan Freemason
Different player to McGinn. Telfer was hugely inconsistent, and had no physical presence whatsoever. He wasn’t interested in defending, and wasn’t a leader on the park. He could score against Dumbarton though. I think we have had more than our share of wee ball player types. We need guys to play in a structured way, and play their part in a team ethic. McGinn is a leader……possibly one of only a couple that we have. For me, we have to get over this thing about constantly signing diminutive run of the mill players who are signed because they can do a Cruyff turn every now and then, but who check out the minute the opposition have the ball.

Not for me- Telfer contributed more than Nesbitt and Hetherington combined. I was all for replacing him with someone more consistent but getting rid of him is becoming more baffling by the week as Nesbitt and co continue to start and stink the place out.

I've yet to witness Hetherington have a good game, yep just good. Nesbitt had good games nearly over a year ago now, hasn't kicked a ball since last October
Trump
Hetherington on a par with Telfer ha ha ha, wow. I’ve changed my mind, I think having Telfer back would be a terrible idea and we should have as many of last seasons losers out the club as is possible, but Telfer is double the player Hetherington is.

Obviously depending on whether PJ or McKay are available, nest week I'd go: PJ Donaldson, McKay, Mackie Ross, Yeats, McGinn, McCann Lawal Oliver, Burrell It may or may not be true but I was told a while back that McCann was a bit of a bad apple in the dressing room and was earmarked to get shipped out, hence he was on that list.
PedroMoutinho
Rightly or wrongly, McCann will not be here at the end of August imo

Unless new investment miraculously appears we are lumbered with Morrison, Nesbit, ,Wilson, Ross, Heatherington, Williamson, McCann and McGuffie. Huge amount of money being wasted on dross. We've signed 11 or 12 players though. So should we really still need to play all 4 of them.

The comment BPM makes is totally fair, we were only a few points off the play off places! Look what QP done who weren’t much better than us and finished 4th…..Apart from anything else we had to give the new manager cash if only to prevent us getting drawn into relegation bother things were that bad! I don't agree with this. I dont know a single fan that thought we could go up last year in Dec/Jan. If we were going to have a go in Jan why did we appoint the utter loser nonentity Rennie? A move many fans said at the time was lunacy Backing him with cash was even more insane. The priority in Jan was avoiding relegation and getting rid of shite until we had a real football manager not a clueless Powerpointer. It was a dreadful window and we're paying the price now that we have a good manager and can't spend enough on removing the shit. One lot are getting grief for spunking money on shite and new lot are somehow deserving of praise for doing the exact same thing. You’re even doing it in that post, justifying blowing tens of thousands of pounds on a player who lost interest in football about 3 years ago just because for some reason you feel the need to defend every decision the new guys make. Wonder who this is - a new account made especially to criticise the current board? No agenda here I guess. /s

In other words our share of the stadium is worthless and therefore cannot be used as collateral for any loans. Was against it from the start and as hard as it would have been should have redeveloped Brockville bit by bit. How much would it cost to buy out the council share and their ownership of the surrounding land for example the car park? Take out a loan on say a 40 year mortgage. I blame Superfan a lot more than I blame the council.
18BAIRN76
I think I'm still in the minority who thought Griffiths was worth the punt. We were just outside the play-off places and even with a bit of a pot belly, I think most of us thought that dropping from the top league to League One would have seen him score more than the two he ended up putting away. It was a gamble - it didn't pay off. They didn't keep him on and made the correct decision binning Rennie too. The thing is I'm not sure moving on one or two would make much difference when it comes to budget. 4 or 5 perhaps might loosen up some more cash but I can't see that happening before the end of the window.
