Aye I’m not sure if Telfer and the Stenny boys were trolling us in the summer but Martin has been very poor. Think he’s kind of went under the radar a bit considering how appalling the rest of the team have been but he’s nowhere near good enough. As soon as Mutch is fit again need to be right back in.

He was excellent when he first came in but like some of the others has deteriorated as the confidence drops.

Its all very well identifying players its persuading them to sign that will be the problem.

There is no promotion this season and our ambitions are no higher than avoiding the playoffs. If they are of the quality required there will be better deals elsewhere.

..and in the unlikely event that Rennie will be 100% identifying his own signings, its still Holt that's being asked to get the deals over the line.

He probably wouldn't even have managed to sign McKay, McGuffie or Seb Ross without being able to offer 2 or 3 year deals.

Going by the line up on Saturday, Rennie wants to play 3-5-2.  That probably means McCann on the left and Williamson on the right (if he's ever fit) and Morrison up front with Dowds.

None of the loanees in the squad suggests they're all heading back on 31st.

Dixon would presumably come in for Lemon (who I also agree is terrible).

It was previously Lex Miller who had to get the deals over the line. Despite the negativity around Gary Holt, I'd take the latter any time.

McKay got a three year deal because he had offers of two years from clubs above League One. I was told their names at the time but I've genuinely long since forgotten. We couldn't beat the wages on offer so he got a longer deal instead.

I don't think it was announced on the website but it was stated by Gordon Wright at the AGM that he had resigned that day.

Another chance to communicate good news to fans missed.

I remember folks having a go at the Rawlins for trying to run the show having invested the same money as a 3 bed semi in Larbert.  We're now in the control of a board who have each invested the same amount as a 4 year old Skoda Fabia.

That's a cheeky comment of course and they're due plenty of time yet but as others have said, Holt needs emptied before he's in any way involved in the January transfer window.

Bring better than Lex Miller doesn’t qualify you for the job I’m afraid. He needs to go and I’m sure the board know it.

One of the good guys who got bullied by Deans and McFarlane. Unfortunately not a strong enough personality to stand up against them.

I suppose, for being part of the Board that got us into this position, he had to go......but I think he may have been a good help with the "transition" to the new regime. ....plus I think he knows where some of the skeletons are hidden.

I have just spent the last 2 hours constructing an email to the club at board@falkirkfc.co.uk detailing Holt's failures in his role; I included quotes of his from the Q&A confirming that he has been heavily involved in recruitment since taking up his role, despite the more recent revisions trying to claim the contrary. I have also confirmed to them that I will not be giving the club any money, nor will I be signing up to FSS, until he is no longer employed by the club - I mentioned I am not alone in feeling this way. It may not get anywhere, but I urge everyone to do likewise and put real pressure on the board, making our voices heard loud and clear on this matter.

Gary Holt burned through 15 strikers to get to Jaime Wilson in the summer then there’s the contact to Brad McKay whose been ganting wherever he’s been. I still can’t quite believe we actually gave him a 3 year deal it’s absolutely insane.

The fact that our recruitment has gotten worse when Gary Holt has taken over from that wankpiece Miller is probably the most damning statement you can make about his time with us.

Simply Gordon Wright is a good guy and  a Falkirk fan through and through. Appointed by Deans, possibly as a "yes"man.  Therefore, as being part of the recent debacle he had to go.

However, with his tenure in possibly the worst Boardroom in recent living memory, with quite a few issues such as the rumoured "letters to fans", the fights with the CI, the background to who was responsible for the disastrous Q&A session etc. I am sure that he is in the know of more that we don't know about.

Holt is clearly at the root cause of most of the problems at the football level of our club.

Unless there is a helluva good reason for him not be given the boot, it's time for him to go before he causes any more damage.

Gordon Wright is still on the board. Colin McFarlane resigned on the day of the AGM, not Gordon Wright.

According to McKay's agent no doubt

Are you intentionally trying to look silly or does it come natural?

Certainly a Z bairn.

Having watched the highlights McKay had an absolute shocker.

It was his swing-and-miss attempt before Clyde's missed chance from yards out and he's left for dead when Lemon had to clear off-the-line.

He leads with the arm for the penalty and then his complete misreading of the aerial ball for Clyde's winner.

Sheerin and now Rennie being let down by their experienced players.

Sort the defence out and I think the rest would start to gel. As it is we've never had a solid platform so our lack of goals has been brought into sharp focus.
