Sheerin pretty well briefed for that interview by the club/board.

Deans - “Remember and say that you are the first appointment of this board... and that we carried out our due diligence... and don’t call Corzo by his nickname”

Also volunteers or not, when can we bin the Falkirk TV guys. Brutal stuff.

Yeah the cynic in me is saying the same. He came out with stuff the fans wanted to hear there which makes me concerned he could be a puppet. Anyway, the only way you can judge him is on the pitch, you can't lie there.

Crazy as it was clear he was finished when he was due to renew his contract. One year would've been bad enough but two was ludicrous.

You can only hope he's not going to feature much but listening to that interview it sounds like he has a part to play.

As said already Miller will be able to be a backup for several positions. Surely not captain again

Clearly not alone in thinking 'why the f**k has he just said Miller's name' I hope to god he's not playing especially as Hetherington's supposed to be a defensive midfielder. Can just be back up for a number of positions. Other than that it was a decent interview and he comes across as a decent guy.

Still no idea why we don't know what's happening with the leftovers from last season surely we know by now if they are re-signing or not.

To be fair I think the was just making the point that you need experienced players in the team to help guide the younger guys, and since Dixon and Miller are our two most senior players, he’s spoke about them

I do see Miller featuring regularly. If the gaffer does favour the 4-2-3-1 formation that his becoming the norm this weather, it would seem reasonable that Miller and Hetherington sit in front of the two centre backs.

He did mention pre-contracts in the plural. If Williamson was one, who are the others? Suspect not Hetherington after Alloa did state that he decided to leave despite being offered a new contract.  With two more expected this week, are we thinking MacKay and Nesbitt? What about Liam Brown and Leon McCann?

Got a funny feeling that the backup keeper will also be the goalkeeping coach. Would therefore be looking at a veteran with a year or two left in them who can help Mutch  improve and work with the academy too. Makes more sense than another Cantley signing.

Yep, unpopular opinion probably but it's amateur shite.

Whatever happened to the real commentator we paraded pre season?

Nothing wrong with Lewis.  The couple of "professional" commentators we tried last season were awful.

Do you mean Liam Dick? I'd imagine it'll be one of either Dick or Mccann which is maybe why if rumours are true we've mucked Liam Dick about as maybe Mccann is our preferred option. Mckay and Nesbitt are the other two pre contracts if the daily record is to be believed. Then there's the hibee who's mentioned Kane O'connor and a slight hint of Declan Mcmanus. Nesbitt's all right footed so he'll have to play on the right with hopefully Morrison on the left.

Mutch

Williamson Mckay Dixon New

New Hetherington

Nesbitt Telfer Morrison

Whats happened to Sneddon was meant to be one for the future and for some reason he didnt even make the bench last season let alone game time or is he part of this new development squad

It was M&M that signed him so he's most likely not up to it. Especially as he never even got a sniff last season and we brought in another 18 year old as cover instead of trying him.

Seemed to be highly rated and a few clubs were sniffing about him, waste of the lads time and a wage

Agree, Bantabairn is Lewis imo

Lewis is absolutely fine for a club media role. Think it would be very much a “careful what you wish for” case if we tried others - some of the diddies that were on in the early season games last year were torture
