Gaz FFC
I heard Jeff Stelling talking about some event taking place at the Albert hall London in December at 52% capacity. If an indoor event can take place at 52% capacity surely we can watch football at a half full stadium?????

Doctors and scientists give their opinion but ultimately politicians decide policy. They do the balancing between keeping life going and shutting up shop as that’s all the scientists want. I therefore agree with Doncaster and Mulroney.

As soon as totally locking down to achieve "Zero Covid" went off the table, all decisions from there on out surely have to be political, at least in part. Can’t believe I’m agreeing with you!

Do folk at the Albert Hall jump up and down, singing, chanting, screaming abuse and running to the edge of the stage when a musician completes a tricky piece of music? I have f**k all interest in going to a game where there's a 2 hour socially distanced queue to get in, I have to sit in my seat, not stand during the game, not shout, not sing and not get within 2 metres of anyone else at any point, before queuing again to be allowed out in a socially distanced manner.

Thankfully my statement was one of common sense rather than some Right wing diatribe....

It is a different situation to the Albert Hall venue and type of crowd that attend these events and are not be anything close to a comparison. Getting in and out the stadium and watching the game is simple because it can be controlled and therefore not the issue. It's the social ritual before and after the game that is the risk and that is why there are no crowds.

There has been test events already and it's the same as people going to the pub and expected to behave. Glad you've took the usual government/police side that fitba fans are all immature and unable to behave themselves.

Pubs and restaurants should not be open when numbers are rising or high. Two wrongs do therefore not equate to a correct answer at this point in time.Really concerned how many people on here are losing patience and joining the Dawson Park Boy brigade.....

It's hardly been 90s Kosovo, martial law or sent to prison, even then the 'lock down' was 3 months when you couldn't socialise and that's about it! You can't go to football or do a few other things. Christmas might look a bit s**t but do you know what? I'm looking forward to it and perhaps it'll be the best one in years.

Been running with 50% for a while with no issues. But then we have government here that knows what it's doing (Victoria excepted).
BudBairn
If 200 fans could get in safely that would be a start to boost the atmosphere. Some stadium noises through the tannoy and cardboard fans would be a nice touch too. Hope the club put some adverts on Falkirk TV for some cash although not sure if that’s possible and maybe no sponsors willing.

And the atmosphere would be abysmal. 1000 would a good start.
