Thistle are going to be given a wadge of cash that'll help them afford better players in the coming season aren't they?

Depends if they win.

If they lose then theyve just opened themselves up to severe punishment, as taking your league organisation to civil court, to contest a decision theyve made while following their own laws, is a breach of SPFL/UEFA/FIFA rules, and could well mean they face signing embargoes (like Rangers when they last tried this), a fine of over £1m, or retraction of their SPFL membership.

The 11-1 voting structure is fucking mental. It’s basically ensures no changes will ever be made to the Premiership.

They had an ideal chance to change it to 9/3 when Sevco got punted to League 2, but St Mirren and Ross County blocked it, along with restructuring to 12-12-18.

Was Aberdeen that stabbed the other 39 clubs in the back over 11-1 wasn't it?

SM and RC definitely did scupper 12-12 --> 8-8-8 I remember that.

Yes, what i can remember, the chance was there while Sevco was working its way up the leagues but Aberdeen voted it down.

Thought so too but the Daily Record doesn't lie! :P 9/3 was lumped in with reconstruction.

There was a separate vote proposed well before that, back in the SPL days, where Aberdeen voted alongside Celtic to block a change to the 11-1 majority. Ironically, the example you've shown there and the carry on with the colts in recent weeks has shown that the 11-1 does have some benefits too. The main reason people used to complain about it was because it prevented a more equitable split of the prize money in the SPL days (it used to be 32% between the top two clubs), but a fairly substantial change to that was voted through while Rangers were away anyway.

What happened in the St Mirren and Ross County case is that both of those clubs were against the 12-12-18 structure with the mid-season 8-8-8, and blocked it from happening. Then, in a last ditch attempt to get it through, Celtic (and maybe others) proposed a change in the voting structure to 9-3 purely so it could get through, and St Mirren and County blocked that change.

Cheers for that. So effectively Ross County and St Mirren are carrying a lot of power in Scottish football relative to what they both bring to the table.

I see Doncaster has landed a role with UEFA on the disciplinary side of things

Unfortunately he's still with us but they obviously have no idea what kind of clown they're taking on board.

Ethics too apparently. After the disgrace that he has presided over. Could not make it up. Obviously his master Lawell's put a word in for him as a reward for ensuring they got their 9 iar. Laughable.

Do the BBC know something we don't?

Maybe you’re now the Cove Rangers Reserve team? Gotta think about how the SPFL could be sticking it to Falkirk again.

If you’ve looked into UEFA Disciplinary decisions, they probably needed a clown that won’t mind always being abused and reversed. Sounds tailor made for him.
