Not a reflection on you AL-FFC, I appreciate your post but what a load of PR Bullshit. The players would do better if they had a manager who knew what he was doing, the blame lies squarely with McKinnon and he should grow a pair and resign. I am sure that he could get another gig driving a taxi and maybe managing some junior team in Dundee or Angus but he definitely doesn't have what it takes for the senior game. GTF.

Pivotal in that the team have probably sussed out that he doesn’t have a clue how to manage a team at this level. I think his only relative success as a manager came at Brechin City.

 

It should never have got to this stage, he should’ve been asked to go on Monday. Give us some time to get a new manager who can utilise the January transfer market.

Management/players copying the boardroom !!

I do have a 20-30% sympathy for Tidser still left in that he looks short of match fitness when played in recent weeks but I have never really rated him as a player. 

McKinnon on the other hand is used to get me angry if the occasion occurs that I need to show that 20-30% more anger, go now ya clueless erse

Don’t worry, then they have the “players only meeting”, that delays it another two or three games...then the BoD meets with Ray to discuss the lack of progress and announces that Ray will “step back” from “day to day” coaching to focus more as a manager and allow his assistants to run the practices while Ray “realigns the team’s approach to promotion”...that’s another month or two....then the BoD announces their “full confidence” in Ray, and sack him the next week. That puts the earliest firing about mid-January, with little to no time to retool the team. And, even then, the BoD would likely view a firing as a waste of money because the window is closing/closed.

Fitness is certainly an issue. Tidser's not fit, Gomis is dead on his feet after 60 minutes, the rest aren't exactly buzzing. I was doing the Fans in Training thing at Falkirk - wasn't impressed at one of the club backroom guys who was taking part going on about sinking 11 pints on a night out. Maybe there's an issue there?

I was hoping the board would release a 'We fully support Ray at this time' announcement.

At the very least a 'clear the air meeting' acknowledges that they know something is far wrong, which is something, because I wasn't convinced that Ray and the BoD are that aware of what is going on.

He simply has to go!! Whilst I thought we were the better team on Sat for a significant part of the game there just seemed to be no desire to get back in to it when we went 1-0 down. Even when we equalised there was no urgency to get the ball back and go for the winner. RM seems to be too happy to play for a draw and that's what got us in to this league in the first place and certainly won't get us out.
