Personally I'd have gone for Goodwin. Would've hurt Alloa as well which would've been a bonus and he'd have cost us a lot less into the bargain.  Not surprised he's now got a job in the top flight.

Goodwin was never available. He was tapped by st mirren before they released kierney . He is ambitious a saints fan and considers us a risk cos who knows who be running the club . I’m not a fan but Ray is our best option for now

The 1502 figure shows that our views on here are not representative of the wider Falkirk support.  We're not like Stenny where an unusually high proportion of their fans are on P&B, most of our fans probably get their news about the club from the Daily R****d, the BBC and maybe the FH. How many read the Board's statements online? How many go to games out of habit or just socialising? It's certainly annoyed me the few times I've sat in the Main Stand to hear grown men yapping like fish wives all through the game about their garden, the wife's shopping habits or how the kids are getting on.

It came from the employees who run the shop. The number given is consistent with what they've been telling me over the couple of weeks, as every time I've gone into the stadium recently  I've asked how sales were going. 
The bod might make things up but the staff don't. 

I had no doubt the number was accurate but it is indicative of the lack of trust the fans have many don't trust anything that comes out of the club.

The next lie to be exposed will be that they won't be moving on despite statements saying they would. They can't even say they have not got a bid that is not in the best interest in the club either as they agreed unanimously to the BtB plan in December.

What is sad about the whole shoddy episode is how they don't care what they are doing to people's enjoyment of something they love doing. I would wage even those who have renew 90% want change but just want to go to games. Them buying a ST is no endorsement of this regime - you could actually argue the opposite. Some are renewing and saying f**k you you are not going to waste it for me you self serving c***s

I think they have made it perfectly clear how much the fans mean to them referring back to the rascist comment and the lack of any apology to the statement on Jun the 4th where they claim CC had been threatened by fans over text message (again which i dont believe for a second as police would have been involved).

We are only the paying customer in their eyes its their ball and they will do what they want with it.

Without the 1502 renewals where would our club be now? In all probability making staff redundant no team etc. The protest might be directed at the non paid people at the club but consideration should be given to the staff and their families. They’re not to blame for the current situation.

I agree with the lack of trust but not the moving on part. After everything that's happened for them to remain now would be unthinkable. It would also - possibly - ramp up the scenes of unrest at the last game to the point of being a security risk, particularly at away games in this league where stewarding will be low.

Do you have any reliable information that the majority of the major players want to stay? Or is speculation based on fear?

I suspect there will be some who want to hang onto their shares. But I believe that a larger number want out, and those will be sufficient to break up the cabal and see the club sold.

Don’t lecture me about not buying when this shower have turned down 800 grand of the fans money.

The club had cash left over from last season, best part of 400k coming from Vaulks.

The c250k from ST’s will probably not even match what they have had in from sponsorship.

And you can add the “we will put cash in” promise to that.

Well I am pretty sure now there will be no ownership change. There may well be a new BOD but the puppeteers will not be moving on.

 

That new Board will be headed up by Lex Miller is the rumours are to be believed.

FFC just announced we've passed the 1,600 mark in season tickets.

Last season we'd shifted 1,600 by 24th of June and had sold 2,600 by the 30th

Hopefully the board are receiving the message loud and clear
