The Falkirk FC Thread

While I agree with most of it, there has been much more anger shown by fans against a board. The protest against the Deans at Berwick and the half time walk out against the board that presided over Falkirk before they got involved.

I wonder why they haven’t contacted shareholders about being patrons?

Perhaps It’a carve up and  they only want well known faces and friends of the club.

I know of 3 people who have a lot more shares than traditional minimum, who were given those shares at the last crisis as Christmas presents. The person who gifted those shares  is an existing shareholder and is a not a football fan but wants to see the club do well.

Why not contact shareholders? some aren’t loyal fans and got shares  by inheritance but still want to see the club be successful

No it's not but how do the sponsors identify potential patrons without the assistance of the club? GDPR issue in here somewhere?

I would say if the people running this relied on the club giving the names this wouldn’t happen. Their knowledge and relationships with potential patrons and the fans is pretty limited IMO.

You only need see what turnout the two fan ownership meetings attracted to see that. The minute people started to rattle the clubs cage and someone credible came up with a plan look at the response.

There is work getting done to attract as many people as possible.

An email went to 22,000 people via email from the club. I would have thought that would pick those people up?

Surely this isn’t a serious post?

How do you think business people (generalising the patrons here) get on in life? They do so by meeting likeminded people through local/national business, socialising, the Bairns Business Club/Networking sessions & let’s not forget the common denominator here, they all support the same football team.

Why not simply issue a notice at the gate at our next home game asking fans (if interested) to register  and confirm so by emailing [email protected] ffc ask them to encourage like minded friends to register offering to send out some info.

(Remember lots of potential investors are private people who may not have wanted to attend a meeting.) Put up the same option to register on the club website and a notic in the Herald. Doing so would bothconfirm / and test the current owners alleged support and you would soon have the cash needed.

ANNOUNCE RUDDEN

Hopefully he just appears on the teamsheet at 2

I’m dreading it reveals O’Hara in the starting 11.

What happened to craigy richardson and the boys who were interested in investing in the club? I wouldve thought they would have ploughed right into this opportunity but we're only at 125k Are they not keen on it for some reason?

Some were certainly on board with the idea a few weeks ago but I’ve no idea about now.

Think I'll lose my shit if it does! We all knew the end date of Rudden's loan deal, going into our biggest game of the season with strikers that have 0 goals for us this season is piss poor!

Can't wait for today's game. Obviously would have been good to get a new striker in but good chance for Lavery to show what he can do.

Rudden is a strange one, he always looks average to me but then comes up with a goal, I suppose they are the best type of strikers. Would be good to get him back with him Lavery and another striker as the 3 going forward.

Hopefully Petra makes the bench as another optikn today.
