No point playing two hiding mods unless we are expecting a thumping. If anything I would swap Paton for TOE...
Falkirk_Bairn_1983
Stole your formation thing there Lewis and Petracivius could cause big problems with their pace which is something we might lack elsewhere in the team. From what I hear Makin is best hanging around the box so if the 3 behind support him well enough then that could suit him especially if he can hold the ball up and bring them into play. Bairnardo
Few folk on about dropping Sammut, not sure what Chelseas terms will be but doubt he is here to waste on a bench in this league.
Shodwall cat
Against forfar we surely could be a bit more adventurous. Dallison Harrison Mcghee Robson Paton Sammut Froxy Petra Mackin Lewis

He didn't have a great game on Saturday but I think he showed some nice touches and the ideas for passes were there. This is his first taste of first team football so it will take him longer than most to get up to speed. We probably want him playing every minute of the cup games to get him ready for ICT.

He needs experience, won't get that sitting on a bench against teams like Montrose and forfar

Falkirk_Bairn_1983
Isn't Lewis more of a winger than a striker?

I would personally start Shepherd in this game(as he can't do any worse than what we saw on Saturday) but he's completely out of Hartley's plans so he won't be.

Anthony Fitzgerald
Isn't Lewis more of a winger than a striker?I see that’s where you put him in your team, however no. He has played in a few positions, right wing back, right wing, and striker. Here is an article on the Watford website about him.
DeeBairn
Fasan McGhee Harrison Dallison Robson Sammut Owen-Edwards Petravicius Froxylius Lewis Macklin With Sammut sitting a bit deeper than Owen-Edwards. Hmm that fecks my team up then I thought he could play on the left wing, that's a shame I was liking the thought of Lewis on the left and Petracivius on the right with their pace. So who can actually play on the left? Robson and Brough? I'm still confused with the balance of the team, Petracivius seems an out and out right winger but I'm not sure we are going to play with wingers and if we do then we will be badly lacking on the left. Not trying to be negative just trying to understand how Hartley sees us playing with the players he has signed up.
