Swap deal for Allan plus cash, I heard...giving us more cash we won't spend....!

Extract from Wiki

It was reported that he was asking for £1,600 per week, which would have made him the third highest earner at the club.[10] Several clubs, including Rangers, Celtic and Newcastle United, expressed an interest in signing Allan.[11] As a result of rejecting a new contract, Allan fell out with Manager Peter Houston.[12]

Mark Millar never got any second chance... So is this a credible story?

Just trying to decipher your pish post.

Which Herald Story ? The one that says Heffernan played in a friendly

We need a penalty box player though. How many times have we seen us passing the ball about in the opposition box with no-one having the balls to just put it in the net? Baird's finishing is pretty bad - is Heffernan's any better?

So Heffernan scored a penalty against an amateur team behind closed doors and is now the answer? My word.

TBF there's absolutely nothing from the club or Houston on the matter - he's played a friendly, scored a penalty and Houstie's had a look at him - nobody's saying he's the 'answer'.

(although I think we all know he'll now be signed)

Loy wasn't that great at penalties mind

That McDonaugh boy is retweeting praise of Heffernan this morning, and there's that weird fluffer piece on the Herald website too.

If he signs he needs to be given a chance but having seen him elsewhere over a number of years I don't have high hopes, to say the least.

Don't know him from Adam but it seems he did ok at Killie a couple of years back, and had a couple of injuries at Hibs which put him out of action, and only played a few games with Dundee. Here's hoping Championship football is what he needs to get his mojo back.
