Leahy looks good imo. Scored 1 and rounded the keeper to set up another v Fraserburgh. Lyle's been banging themin in pre-season also, look forward to seeing them both at Westfiled, welcome aboard lads.

No he hasn't. Yesterday was Taylor's first goal and it was a six yard tap in. His only other contribution of note was his excellent movement that helped create the first goal By staying deliberately offside when a ball was played through it caused confusion and let Leahy run onto it and strike it.

Leahy looked a lot livlier and was always hungry for the ball. I have confidence he'll be a good signing.

Kingsley and Duffie were the real stars of the show, they were excellent. I thought we looked a lot sharper when we were playing the youngsters and some of the football they played was simply magnificent. We have to factor in we were playing a bunch of Trawlermen, but they were impressive none the less.

I'm a bit worried about the centre backs as their display wasn't exactly confidence boosting and Jordan White was a pile of Jordan White.

Overall a good display, but probably not a satisfactory game on which to judge expectations.

Thing about voting yes is that it is stupid for 2 reasons. Firstly, because it's stupid and secondly because it had no chance of winning.

It would be like saying "hang on a sec", donning a uniform and barging into Custer's last stand only to do a quick headcount and say "ah, f**k".

The comments on the club's Facebook page are depressing. If ever something gave the board the mandate to do what ever the hell it liked it's these idiots. Some of them are even admitting to not knowing what the Rangers situation was about, yet stil play the 'real fan' card at those worried about what the club may have done.

No SPL2 after tomorrow's meeting will be our best chance of finding out how we voted.

Bairnstrust have taken the decision to cancel their monthly meeting at the Stadium on July 16 for the following reasons:

1. The Scottish game is still in a state of flux and the ramifications of the SFL vote on Friday are still rumbling on with no resolution.

2. Our club has been widely accused of voting to parachute Newco Rangers into Division 1. At this juncture despite pressing the club for clarification we still do not know which way they voted or if indeed they will make a public statement.

3. The Club were unable to send a Director to attend.

4. Bairnstrust believe that it is best to hold a meeting when everyone is possession of as many facts as we can obtain and the club Board can be represented.

I trust you understand why we have taken this action. We will announce the date of the meeting when we have a much clearer picture and when the club can be represented. We envisage that this could be later this week or early next.

We are sorry for any inconvenience caused.

What is the point of them being on the board if they are ignored or not informed on current matters? All looks very bleak.

Them not knowing how the board were going to vote is just about understandable. Fluid situation, last minute information, blah blah.

It's beyond unacceptable that it's now almost 72 hours later and one of the Board members, and more importantly the conduit to the fansbase, have no idea how the club voted, and aren't even clear that they will ever find out how the board voted.

This is not secret. Several other clubs have declared their position. Falkirk's position on this is cowardly and untenable. It's more important that they tell the fans how they voted, rather than even the actual Yes/No element of it.

I expected Bairnstrust would know what the voting position was, even if the club wanted to take a few days for a QoS style explanation email, if the vote was "Yes."
