Pretty sure they said Thistle only got an allocation of 1000 which they sold out. Queens probably have a core support of 500 so there was never going to be a much bigger crowd. Maybe we would be better not turning out in numbers tomorrow as our shitebags can’t seem to cope playing in front of decent crowds.

After Tuesdays humiliation, thought the home support for the return game would have seen a significant drop in ticket sales. Not sure what the actual footfall will be as many friends had already purchased prior to Tuesday, however not sure who will actually turn up. There would have been a reduction in sales after Tuesday so I’d expect the crowd to be around 3K tops, however wouldn’t be surprised to see less.

I reckon around the usual 4k. Would have been 5 or 6K if we were still in with a reasonable shout.

We have three centre-halfs under contract for next season in McKay, Donaldson & Henderson plus Mackie who can play there too. And we'll have a development team with centre-halfs who can provide cover.

For those reasons I'd be astonished if PW was offered a new deal.

That would give you the dry boak without flinging Watson a new deal given he's been out for the majority of his. I feel a bit sorry for Watson, he was much maligned in a far better Falkirk side previously to this shambles and still would have been a better defender than any of the current incumbents first time around. Sadly time catches up.

They're going to have to stick their chests out and take that on the chin because that performance tonight was really poor.

There's always hope. I know it's very, very small - it's barely alight. What's the point in doing the second leg if you don't believe? They might not win it but they can try to overturn this awful game tonight.

The fans will be pessimistic and think it's impossible. The only people who can change that are the players. They've got to try to get a win.

Opinion from the Peterborough vs. Sheffield Wednesday where that result parallels ours.

Regardless of the turnout tomorrow its not the fans who have to believe we can get a result, we need every single player selected tomorrow to believe it.

They've got Will Vaulks though.

If we still had him, he'd probably be suspended for Saturday for having kicked Aidan Nesbitts c**t in on the halfway line on Tuesday night.

Henderson doesn’t play at centre half though and I personally I would be very concerned with McKay and Donaldson as our main options there next season

Which was kind of the half assed point I was trying to make earlier. They won't though. Besides even if it is looking a glimmer of hope McGlynn will sabotage it

I’ve been going since 1978 and have always loved watching players like Nicol, Bomber, Craw, Houstie, Yogi and more recently Vaulks, Grant and Leahy. Guys who no matter what, would run through a wall for our club and have a real chance connection with the supporters because of that.

All I see now is a collection of shitebags who don’t give a f**k.

The fact we are even having a debate on giving Watson a new contract gives me the boke.

I’d rather we signed a Darren Dods or David McCracken than keep Watson. That numpty Donaldson needs someone beside him to keep him switched on!

You are totally right GB, we need some grafters in the squad who care about the club and who would be willing to give their all on the pitch. Not a shower of sand dancers, posers and chancers who you see laughing and smiling when they leave the stadium after a defeat.

The TFS is an easy stadium to come too for opposing teams, we need to make it a difficult place where players don’t relish coming too and know they are going to get a hard time.

Problem is there is now a culture of low standards and failure around the place. Too many quite happy to accept a fifth season in the third tier and a hammering by Airdrie on the basis it’s an “improvement” on the worst season in the club’s history.

How do you know this? Do you have pals on the board?

if that culture only exists “now” I don’t know what the f**k the culture has been over the last decade

That culture has been in place for a number of years. However, I would say that any previous Falkirk manager on the wrong end of Tuesday night’s disaster would’ve been out the door.

I agree with some of what Pedro says, I don’t think it’s just the management and players who have drastically lowered the levels of expectation at the club, we the fans have as well. We turn up in huge numbers for the level we are playing at and don’t expect too much from the team. The atmosphere at the ground isn’t great, which I know is down to us but it’s like there is no fire or spark about the club anymore. These past 5 years have just drained the life out the club.

Indeed, the manager and player turnover over the last decade has served us really well. Definitely the blueprint to follow. More of the same please!

I think, and only my opinion, is that there is a split amongst fans at the moment. Some fans think that getting to a cup semi final and finishing 2nd in the league is a brilliant achievement. Other fans think that by not turning up vs ICT and being humiliated by Airdrie along with being miles behind Dunfermline means McGlynn isn’t good enough.

My opinion is somewhere in the middle, probably veering towards getting rid of McGlynn. I defo don’t get the love in for him from some fans.
