We’re heavy in squad numbers and we certainly don’t need others as spare jersey fillers. If and it’s a huge if we somehow get Williamson fit and on form, we won’t see much change, still think another striker could be the difference come season end. Why won’t there be any additions? We may sell a player. We may offload 2/3. We may get investment. Who knows. Far too early to say one way or other what will happen in January.
NavyBlueArmy1876
Struggling to remember when we last did some sort of discounted pricing/ deal? Season ticket holders could bring a friend for free for the Ross County relegation game a few years ago - 4,682 at that one. Hopefully the QotS game can attract a good crowd. Should give away the whole north stand to community teams and school kids as well.

However your first sentence is way off mark if you listen to the recent podcast and what I’m hearing about the clubs finances. My first sentence was ‘tongue in cheek’.

Notoriously difficult time to wheal and deal, dearly love to offload but not sure who’d take many of the fringe (shite) It’s the most magical time of the year, so we live in hope……

Bigbri Bairn
Would it be too much to ask that for a few weeks we could be reasonably confident of three points on a Sarurday. I live in hope

Rizzo
Leon McCann's goal has appeared on BBC Sport - Leonel McMessi? Watch Falkirk score spectacular goal against Edinburgh City - BBC Sport I assume it's the FalkirkTV footage but nice to see all the same.

Can’t imagine that would entice any extra people to come. Anyway, keen to get the paperwork for the AGM which should be coming out soon. I hear they are also trying to sell 25 ST’s at £5k each for 10 years with some extras attached. Now that is a decent idea for raising cash rather than giving it away. Completely missed the point here of helping out fans at one of the most financially taxing times of year, in a cost of living crisis. But if you are concerned about finances there are also some financial benefits to marketing strategies like this. Maybe attracting some fans who don't usually go to games but show up because it's cheap, get into the game and maybe end up going more often. Also attracting a larger gate with more people maybe likely to buy a hat or a scarf while they are there. As for selling 10 years worth of season tickets at once? Maybe an initial cash injection but you are then missing out on 10 years of income from fans who would have likely bought season tickets anyway, not sure that actually balances out very well.
RC55 FFC
On the 10yr ST, looking at the price v benefits I think the club is more than winning out of it tbh, even with promotion at £500 per year. Only 25 spaces too remember.
knee jerk reaction
10 year season ticket is a gamble if you're looking for value for money, 2 promotions in a row and it's a bargain. Double promotion push starts today v Clyde!!
Springfield
Anyone have any idea who picks up the energy bills for the stadium. Noticed the stadium floodlights on late midweek, when travelling to airport. Assuming these are LEDs ?

Don't think they're LEDs as they don't look like it. No idea about who pays, but if I were the stadium company I'd log when the lights were turned on and whom for. Then bill whatever party needed them at the time on a pro-rata basis. They'll certainly be paid for by football clubs or Foundation rather than FCSL.

They’ve been limited at 25 tickets to mitigate any effect in subsequent years however that would be taking for granted several things such as presuming that each person would have bought a ticket for the next 10 years. At the end of the day it’s just a venture to bring in a financial boost, for anyone able to afford it. Plenty have gave money over the years without much in return so this will be of more benefit to the individual than maybe buying £5k worth of shares. Essentially it’s a soft loan that the club doesn’t have to pay interest on and a way for fans to help plug the gap in finances. The only difference like you say will be the club potentially missing out on those payments in future years.

Thanks, In view of the hike in utilities, I would like to think that it’s being closely monitored. I’ve passed the stadium at various times and we certainly like a bright sky…
