I also assume you no longer work for Queens when you're posting such pish online? If you're counting a week as being so many hours long then you're right, the problem is everybody else in the world sensibly counts a week as being 7 separate consecutive days.
Reggie Perrin
Not saying that this how many days in a week chat is boring but my eyes have begun to bleed.
falkirkthebigclub
By half time tomorrow, we'll have played 4 halves of football, over 3 fixtures, which began with a second half, in the space of one week. Mind blown.
Guest
Just for clarification, if there was no midweek games and played consecutive Saturdays would that be 2 games in a week or one?

Depends if they're home or away fixtures, mate.

I'm not sure what you're struggling with? Falkirk are, of course, in the same boat but have a more straightforward game on paper tomorrow. The man is correct, the Beatles once sung a song about it. Syd Puddefoot
Well it might be possible to have 3 games in one week, if you can support two teams in one game.

Popular Post Bainsfordbairn
Some game tonight at Links Park. The Under 18s were playing Montrose in the Scottish Cup and got played off the park in the first half. They were lucky to go in only one-nil down. When Montrose got and converted a penalty early in the second half it looked all over. But the kids fought back, scored two and took it to extra time. With maybe five minutes to go at the end of extra time our keeper made up for conceding the penalty by producing what turned out a matchwinnning save. Then right at the end Falkirk got a freekick within range of their box. It was played in, somebody got a toe on it and we were 3-2 up. That turned out to be the last kick of the game. What a way to start the weekend. It'll be one am before I get home but it was worth it. John McGlynn was here and spoke to the boys in the dressing room afterwards. I listened in and from what he was saying it's obvious he has a good knowledge of the youth players and their strengths. Now, I if can watch the first team beat Kelty tomorrow and the girls do the same to Airdrie on Sunday I'll be a happy man.
Hank von Hell
Just to add to the fascinating debate: "In the space of 46 days, Leeds played 15 fixtures, an average of three per week". https://www.wsc.co.uk/stories/how-a-fixture-and-injury-pile-up-saw-leeds-finish-1969-70-empty-handed/
