McGlynn even admits that all of they've seen of him are 'bits & pieces'. Thats all we seen last season too. Came on at Palmerston and looked sharp with an assist (as i recall) and then disappeared for the majority of the campaign. Best of luck to him and hope he makes a significant contribution for you.
18BAIRN76
I would also like to point out before people come on and accuse folk of being negative; I have faith in McGlynn and will absolutely give this boy a chance - I'll be delighted if he goes onto bag a barrowload. But it is underwhelming on the face of it. We were rumoured to be in for the St Mirren boy who went to Airdrie last week, and if Pars do go onto sign Mochrie as is rumoured, it would be fair to even label things as becoming a little concerning.

The guy probably meant to compare him to two recent signings of young, English strikers we made - nothing to see here.
FalkirkBairn2021
Have to think Jaime Wilson goes out on loan again soon. Perhaps to The Moon FC. Edited August 1, 2022 by FalkirkBairn2021

Sgt Bilko
Boy might not have scored a professional goal but scored 14 in 32 for Boro under 23. Fingers crossed he can stay fit and find the net for us. A bit meh on the face of it, but hey expect the unexpected.

The key word in your post is rumours. Whether we like it or not our board have been very transparent in telling the fans about our lack of finances to strengthen the squad so any talk of Rooney etc is just stupidity.
18BAIRN76
Knowing our luck as he's on a one-year contract - he goes and bags 25 goals and fucks off for free
Dawson Park Boy
Maybe it’s a cheap deal like Will Vaulks to get him back up and running and in the shop window?
Anthony Fitzgerald
Hopefully not a massive chunk out of the budget. Very hard to be optimistic about this one. Hope to be proven wrong.
Springfield
Maybe we’re just worrying about nothing and the fact that three maybe four players signed (with injuries) points to us getting them in a loan deals, and a box of Caramel wafers heading in the opposite direction.

We never saw enough of Burrell to form an opinion but Steven McGinn will have seen enough of him to give McGlynn the inside track.
Bairn winner
Lets give the boy a chance, can't be any worse than what Holt left us.
Bigbri Bairn
Really hope the lad proves the doubters wrong. Farid and Colin Samuel did not have much previous when they signed and did okay. Give him a chance

Kilmarnock manager Tommy Wright said: “He’s a young striker and Paul Stephenson (assistant manager) brought him to my attention. We’ve watched him and had good reports about him. "He’s quick, strong and decent in front of goal and will stretch teams as well and he should be fine to be added to the squad for Monday’s game (against Ayr United).” Edited August 1, 2022 by Syd Puddefoot

Pompey didn’t sign him after the trial but their manager was full of praise for his attitude which is something.
