Me and my mates were talking last night about former Falkirk players who have played in European finals.

David Weir
Tony Parks
John Clark
Chris Waddle
Jackie McNamara
Scott Arfield

Any others?

Stewart Kennedy and Gary Gillespie were both substitutes.

Some great players being mentioned but surprised no one included Ivo Den Bieman, even on the bench…

Was just thinking the same thing. He was going to be in my team alongside yogi. Big Ivo was class for us in both spells, also made players around him play better. Big Kevin Christie was never the same after Ivo left

As far as I know most of these guys are still alive.

You're auld.

Baillie, Graham and Watson have all passed. Not sure about Tam Young, but still around as far as I know.

My first game (as far as I can make out) was v Airdrie at Brockville, Craigie Watson scoring twice!

No surprise there, a re-run of Kilmarnock V Falkirk.

St Johnstone look bigger, stronger and quicker than Inverness. I don't know what it is, it could just be tiredness from Inverness.

Just much more quality in the St Johnstone team, remember it's Sean Welsh playing in the middle of the park for Inverness. Murray Davidson's having a field day in there.

That’s actually the problem with them they’ve for some bizarre reason got Sean Welsh playing in the middle of a back 3 and they’re badly missing him in midfield. He’s their best midfielder by a distance so a really strange decision by Dodds.

I think he's just dropping in to try take the ball, I don't think he's actually playing as a centre back. Deas is the only player in that Inverness team that would get near that St Johnstone side.

My team tbh but I'd swap Parks with Marshall

Credit to IC. STJ thought it was a case of seeing out the second half.

Strange team all together. Not starting the likes of Chalmers who has been brilliant for them. St Johnstone's bottle didn't half crash in that second half though.
