How long a contract did Ompreon get? Was just a year thankfully, our original post was 'we look forward to seeing you back in the summer' which has clearly been a copy and paste error as they amended the post a few minutes later to remove that.

18BAIRN76
If we cannot source a CM in the loan market within the next 7 or so hours that would be a better option than Gary Miller, questions should be asked btw.

So we should sign a player and potentially spend more money on a midfielder who is just a little bit better than Gary Miller? We need to bring players in of the right quality, otherwise we might as well just stick with what we have.

Tbf if we can’t find a midfielder that’s available today and is better than Gary Miller, Steven Hetherington, Seb Ross and Aidan Nesbitt then we’re as well just chucking it now tbh.
Russ
The club deleted that tweet and reposted the same one but removing ‘and look forward to welcoming him back in the Summer’. Is his contract up then? Aye 1 year deal. He was one of the few that got 1 year. Just one to add to the long list of completely dogshit strikers we’ve signed in the last 5 years. He’s some boy though.

The point I was making is I’m sure we could get a player that is better than them, however, we need a player who is significantly better and would make a difference. We need a leader and someone who stands up when the going gets tough. Bringing someone in who is a bit better than Seb Ross for instance isn’t going to make a difference.

Even if it someone who is just "a bit better" than the names mentioned is that not a good thing?

I don’t think it would make the difference we need. At that stage you need to decide whether it’s even worthwhile. We need someone with specific qualities and if we can’t get them, then might as well just stick with what we have. Signing another lightweight midfielder who is a bit better than the likes of Seb Ross or Nesbitt won’t change anything.
JulioBairn
Somehow we are level on points with QP, we have a front 3 who just might score goals and we have Morrison on his way back (for all his flaws results suggest we are a better team with him in it.) However, we must sign a midfielder or everything else could prove to be pointless.

Gk - mutch D - Williamson/wilson, mills, watson, mccan Cm - Telfer, Jacob's RM/LM - morrison, kabia St - griffiths, dowds

Guest
Putin calling the Ukraine President and PM “neo-nazis”. A President and a PM who are both Jewish. Someone get Putin a mirror…he can afford one given the $65 billion he has siphoned out of the country.

Probably the best hope for peace would be for one of Putins Oligarch / Gangster associates to put a bullet in him once the sanctions begin to hit their income.
