Against a team adrift at the bottom of the league we struggled to create anything, how can this be cheered? We played ok in spells, but our defending is still horrendous and we need a centre mid with some bite (appreciate they are hard to come by in January, and in 3rd tier). It's unbelievable that we are in touch at all, never mind actually that this is points wise, a good week. If, a couple of weeks back the Griffiths signing was followed up with a midfielder of any tackling ability whatsoever, id have felt quite good about our side. But this is happening too often. There are too many signs of too many players entering the "f**k it" phase and this is now about the fourth or fifth entire squad we've ahd where desire, attitude and application, rather than ability, appears to be a fucking massive issue. Should still be doing a job but he knocked his pan in every week at the start of the season and was excellent but has been dragged down to the level of the rest it would seem.
