and the Rawlins stepping down due to not wanting to be associated with our Board any longer.

The same board who, upon the announcement of their investment 14 months ago, they were praising to the skies for their "leadership and vision for the future of the club". They've been on the board for around a year now, and therefore very much part of yet more horrendous decision making. Far, far, far too late unfortunately for them to decide it's time to wash their hands of Deans and his gang. The damage has long since been done. It is to be hoped that those who replace them have significantly more interest in, and regard for, the club. It should not be difficult.

To gain that support the new board need to be decisive from the outset.

A huge statement of intent would be the immediate removal of Holt and Sheerin followed up with cleaning out the behind the scenes hangers on.

Totally agree, but remember that for now, it’s 4 off the Board, and only two on. It was put to me tonight that having no Chairman would be an upgrade on what we have now. Don’t know about that, but there is still a lot of clearing out to do……more need to go. It’s the only way the malaise can be lifted. As long as FFC allow the less than savoury elements to continue to come and go as they please, the more their influence will drag us back down. A few more dark clouds need to go before we get a new dawn.

Sheerin is a strange one. His early interviews were honest and refreshing. Since things started to unravel, he has come away with some crazy stuff……being disappointed at having to go two up front to rescue a point because he would rather gain territory, to it’s not difficult to fix our lack of goal threat, to aspiring to be in the top four mix, to the team needing to be better, but maybe they can’t. It’s all starting to be a mix of his standard sound bytes and mad mental “did he really say that” stuff.

Nesbitt mentioning our pitch being slow, making any passing game more difficult. Why don’t we fucking water it then? Pretty sure we did when holt was manager years ago. Is there anyone in our club with a brain cell between them????

The pitch does look slow to be fair but that’s no excuse to constantly pass sideways and backwards. Pig sick of this shite now, ta ta Sheerin you useless tosser!

If you read between the lines watching Nesbitt's interview, he is clearly criticising the tactics as being inflexible, sideways passing, the way we keep losing ridiculous goals, always doing the same old thing while not reacting to the way the game is going, etc.  He looked shell-shocked.  I thought this was as close he could go to trash the manager without actually saying it out loud.   Interesting.

MR and SA will make the decision and tell someone to do the deed.

Absolutely spot on and the rim lies the root of our problems. They can appoint as many puppet boards as they wish “ however the evidence seems to be it doesn't work - we need an owner running the club not orchestrating matters from the wings and collecting their annuity from a stand that wasn't needed.

They 100% are not appointing anyone now. The four new Board Members will be selected between the Patrons and FSS. I have just voted in the Patron election and I can tell you not one on those standing are, or ever have been or ever will be puppets for anyone.

Whatever your involvement, please push for the removal of Holt. He has been a poisonous influence since his arrival, and whatever downward trajectory we were on before has been accelerated by his presence.

I contributed to the Patrons investment. I have voted for two people to join the Board. I clearly have my own personal views (which I have voiced on here for 10 months) but it will be for those selected to make their minds up on what the club direction is.

Who are we wanting in?
Going by they daft Facebook fan pages, Brian Rice seems to be the one they want,,,
Don't get the love for "chipper" at all, seen the nick he has left Hamilton in, their fans were screaming for him to be sacked for a couple seasons before he quit, also a couple have suggested Alex Neil, like the ex Preston and Norwich manager is going to drop down to 3rd tier of Scottish football

Remember when we used to have Scottish Cup runs? Remember when we used to get to finals .....not that long ago.

But a conveyor belt of incompetent deluded power mad fools who think they know how to run a football club have run us into the ground and we can't even compete with an average Raith Rovers side in a one off cup tie.

And at the same time they have destroyed the infrastructure of the club leaving us with no sellable assets in the team  for the first time in many years but instead a load of sub standard journeymen no one else wants.

Very best of luck to the Patrons & FSS sorting out this complete & utter clusterfuck - the only way is up .......surely.

Hopefully the direction is up cause I’m fucking sick of our direction being down since 2017.

The improvement needs to start now. No more excuses or false dawns.

Even if they presented us with a proper, progressive business plan with achievable milestones set out so we at least had an idea of the direction we are going in.

The fibres are so flat on the pitch now that even when watered it is slow. Its definitely needing replaced now.

Not sure about rice myself but I wouldn't blame him for Hamilton's current demise. Pretty obvious they have been totally skint for a couple of seasons now and are having to play a pile of kids every week. I'd possibly rather see him replacing Holt than sheerin.
