The Falkirk FC Thread

Recommended Posts

Full Time Football Clubs are no longer community hubs where 'supporters' are guaranteed the welcoming or day out experience we all once had. Go and see Camelon for a fiver if that is your desire. Full Time Clubs are businesses, some empires. I read with sadness so many non business minded fools on here who no longer attend the games. Falkirk Football Club has changed over the years, with some 'supporters' yet to adapt and prefer to offer their business advice on here. Now why are these full time admin staff not business people themselves ? They do not know how to. They are great at saying when things aren't good, but have no solutions. They are nodding dogs in the workplace as they do their admin tasks. If they were any good, they would not be offering their ideas on here as they would be successful and with their spare cash be willing to plough it into the club they love and have proper business minded ideas. The 'supporters' of Falkirk FC are the downtrodden reasons for the demise, not the chairmen, owners, manager, or whoever. Wake up and smell the coffee

Tbh I hate to think what Sheerin has in mind for next week if he’s going to sacrifice creativity to tighten up at the back. We don’t create anything as it is!

You could play back the last few interviews from Houston, Hartley, McKinnon and M and M and I suspect they’d contain the same platitudes about ‘working hard on the training ground’ and ‘things not going for us’.

Nice to see a member of the board join the debate 🤣

Feel sorry for Sheerin. Like May, he is sadly another uninspiring appointment by a board that are living in a weird parallel universe.

CEO, DOF... its all fantasy stuff. For too long too many talentless suits have ponced around our boardroom thinking they're big time Charlies.

Can someone in that bizarre place please accept the reality. We are in terminal decline and you are a huge part of the problem.

If they are genuine 'Falkirk people' then they need to accept their failings and walk.

MR and SA... your time is also at an end. Put the club up for sale and let's usher in a new era.

And before someone mentions the Ewings, errm, sorry, the Rawlings in America, the price of a new house in Kinnaird would clear their input.

'Book your buses for Stranraer' used to be a choir favourite at Brockville. It might be our 2021-22 strap line for selling season tickets?

Deans getting it tight after the match telling folk that sheerin never signed a single player.

Hope you are well?

We have been awful all season but got a 4-2 Victory  today!,  Mercer , your former player, scored a wordily free kick- feels he has never been fitter than with EF?. Our former  and much loved player Dowds, who when playing us last  year was a shadow of player that left us,   after scoring 2 and making the third against a largely 1st Aberdeen team, scored again today as a sub.  .

Do you feel their is a toxic atmosphere at your club  that inhibits players from developing?

Anyway, you dropped Dixon today, Tried to sell Keena to the Rovers , loaned out Dowds to a team above who rate him/ only conclusion you boys better get to love the seaside league.!

Still tickets available for Tuesday,  get off the keyboards & tell the Rawlins what we are seeing weekly, tell them what we  want from the playing side to the puppets in the boardroom. This is a chance to air our greivences & hopefully start singing from the same hymn book

I questioned this weeks ago with regards to players leaving our club and doing better. There has to be something wrong with the atmosphere at Falkirk FC as it happens way too many times.

Your talking out your arse man. Two years ago there were 40 or so supporters with a bob or two and hundreds of other fans were prepared to pony up the thick end of 800 grand for the MSG to take a dilution in their shareholding. This year a dozen or so supporters were prepared to pony up over 500 grand, in return for a stake places on the board and some management changes, so don’t say there aren’t people prepared to put their money where there mouth is.

Don’t try and lecture some of these folks they wouldn’t have the ability to administer a third division football club. As they would tie the current incumbents in knots.

Introduce yourself on Tuesday Bairnschild and you’ll be shot down in flames.
