Too many wingers in our squad now to play 3 at the back.

                            Mutch

Miller.      McKay.       Dixon.     Mccann

                           Krasiniqi

Mcdaid.            Telfer.              Nesbit

                      Ruth.       Keena

Slight tweak to our usual formation and not sure about injuries etc but that’s how I’d be going from now on especially at home. Williamson I can’t see being fit so would need to play Miller unfortunately. Just give Telfer a free role to get between the lines and cause havoc!

Anything but Mackay at the back. Guys a complete liability in a back 4.

Until Morrison is back and if everyone else was fit  I'd probably give something like this a go. We need to shore up the defence and that means a back 3 for me.

I was trying to be realistic as to who Sheerin will actually pick. I don’t think he will drop mackay for a teenager.

No he won't  it'll still be hetherington stinking out the midfield and Mackay  making our defence look like a pub team plus one up front.

He wouldn't be  dropping him for a teenager he'd be dropping him for hall  to be honest. I'm giving hall the benefit of the doubt over Mackay as Mackay is that bad. The guy in the middle of the back 3 needs to be able to play a bit of football which rules those two out straight away . Lemon has looked far more assured than hall or Mackay and yet can't even get in the squad. It's laughable.

Fair enough. I had just blocked Hall out of my mind completely so forgot about him 😆

To be fair we ended up as a 3-5-2 on Saturday when Cammy Williamson went off injured. Ryan Williamson will no doubt be out for a while so given Gary Miller's our only option at right back he'll need to think of something.

Has anything been said about R Williamson's injury/how long he'll be missing etc?

They just said it was the opposite groin from the injury he's recovered from. So that could be good or bad news. Should really be getting another right back in on loan to cover for him whilst he's out as with his record he's more than likely going to be out again at some point in the season.

Sheerin's interview was somebody that does not know what he can do to change things. What he has got to work with has already been sussed out by the opposition.

Most of the signings were not his but thats no excuse as he knew that before he took the job.

We badly need a win against East Fife ! if we don't then it will be pitchforks and torches outside the main stand.

Tbh, I think it’s one game I am prepared to say “yes, we are definitely going to win that one”. More a reflection on just how bad EF are compared to us……we have half a dozen or so players who are decent L1 standard, and one or two who could cut it in the league above . I think EF have maybe two decent L1 standard players.

Losing (or even drawing) is unthinkable, and if Hetherington is part of a starting XI that draws or loses against EF, then sorry, Sheerin will have written his “respected coach” suicide note.

……and that provided his near “jump the shark” moment when he said he didn’t like playing that way, and he didn’t like “forcing” the game, and wanted to gain territory by passing the ball (you know, that system that says we don’t score).

I hate when coaches get a system stuck in their head. Either buy the players that make that system work or make a system that suits the players at your disposal.

Agree too that we’ll beat East Fife on Saturday. Beating them won’t mean anything in terms of us turning a corner but it might give the players a much needed confidence boost.
