LauriestonBairn
Nobody forced Falkirk or Partick to run a full-time setup in the third tier of Scottish football in the middle of a pandemic, it was your free choice. Would worry about your £500k going to Golden Casket.

The sweety boy kept them going for years before he carked it and his son then said feck that I'm not pishing my inheritance down the drain on greenock feckin Morton. They along with other sides obviously haven't cut their cloth accordingly to get through this season. If your outgoings are far more than your incomings then you ain't going to last long and are taking up a championship spot that a club run properly financially could be taking up. Good to see that it's clubs that voted yes to last season's debacle that could be going tits up. 23 hours ago, Shadwell Dog said: After their greeting to the SFA in the McKinnon affair I'd happily see them disappear into the ether to be honest. Good to see Queen Nicola striding in to save Scottish football's real establishment club with a hefty wedge to see out the pandemic. You sit down and fester down there with your bitter seethe and measly 150 grand instead. Thanks for playing anyway.

No it doesn't we're fine financially we don't need a handout as we're run well. Still sold 2500 plus season tickets this season even in the middle of a pandemic we backed our club. Pity your mob couldn't or you might not be so desperate for this cash before you went down the tubes. Shame then that you could neither sort yourselves out prior being sent spinning into the seaside leagues nor failing to get out of it with by far the largest budget. Gutted for you.

Why just because we don't need it doesn't mean we can't find a way to spend it. At the end of the day it's a 150k bonus forus we can use to pay something and that will hopefully allow us a bigger playing budget in the second half of the season. On the other hand for clubs like Morton all this is is a lifeline. It plugs a massive hole in the finances it doesn't do anything other than that. All it means is the club will exist come may. It's a huge opportunity lost for clubs like that as imagine if they had been well run and been gifted 500k to spend. Morton will now be scraping by in a league where clubs like Arbroath and alloa are now rolling in cash . Ayr are pretty well run so this should be a bit of a windfall more than a life saver I would've thought. What does that say about your diddy wee club?

So if you don’t need it, why are you lot moaning about getting a smaller grant than clubs who do?
