I think we've played well. Durnan's showed his qualities at the back or complete lack of them. It was always going to be a free hit and Rangers have showed why they're dominating this season every time they go forward they look like they are going to score. I'm hoping Laverty comes on so we get to see a bit of him. Sammon's put himself about but he never ever looks like scoring.

This was always going to happen, and why it was a shite draw for anyone who wasn't delighted about seeing their Big Team play. Folk creaming themselves because they can remember us giving 'the Gers" a "good game" in the past. Conveniently forgetting that we're stuck in the third tier and they're about 200 points clear at the top of the first.

Just need to hope our morale doesn't take a kicking.

We’ve improved a fair bit since their goal but still look like we have zero game plan.

End of the day a recent bench warmer in Hagi is probably on more than our squad tells you all, no fans is a bonus for Rangers too.

We can't afford to lose our 1st choice keeper and captain/best defender and compete with a team of that quality.

It's really only Gary Miller, tbh I think we have been more fluid in midfield without him there and has Hall been the weaklink, nope that's been Durnan. I don't think we have been shockingly bad but we are playing a team outwith our budget if we were in the top league, so league one it's just fukn huge gap.

We haven't been Hamiltonly bad.....I hope we score at least, yes sounds defeatist but as I said earlier we had more chance of winning this than me winning the lottery this weekend that I didn't put a ticket on for.

We've competed much better than I thought we would tbh. Passed it around well enough, just making the wrong choices in the final third at times.

Really poor defending for the first two goals, especially the first. Durnan really is capable of making some fucking terrible mistakes. Not much we could do about the Barisic freekick.

Disappointing to be 3-0 down but at least we didn't have to run up a £16m loss to assemble our team. Looking forward to getting back to league duty next week.

Much better having a camera looking away from Grangemouth brownfield sites, even with nobody in the stands. Falkirk TV should get used to long johns and a thermos flask.

Done not too bad but you’ll never win when you concede goals like we have. The first and second in particular will be punished by anyone never mind Rangers.

Sums the game up, we have two decent chances at the start of the second half and they go up the other end and it’s 4-0. How long will we persist with Durnan? I know it’s hard tonight considering Miller isn’t available but Durnan is a disgrace.

The result isn't that important but I do think this shows how unbalanced our squad is. One player out and we look shaky as hell.

You have judged this against our opposition tonight...

Don't think we have done that bad considering the gap

We need more options on the right hand side defensively. Mercer is our only real right back and he can't get a game because a 33 year old is deemed a better option.  Even Durnam got a game before him.

Shame about the score because I was really impressed with most aspects of our performance tonight.

We had good fitness, attitude given we were behind all game and we were prepared to take the ball under pressure and pass it.
Play like that and we should stay top.

However, three players were stand out weaknesses in an otherwise good performance.

Durnan is like starting a goal down.
Todd specialises in giving the ball away.
Salmon can't move when the ball comes his way.

And OK the keeper is probably alright at our level but not against that opposition.

If we replace the three above (Kenna Connolly and Miller?) and sign a centre back in January, we will be on our way.

Time to be positive

So we are unbalanced because we don't have right backs in a game where Hall didn't really do much wrong other than his attacking was as akin to G Miller.

I'd have pointed more towards centre back myself but in a 27 game season it's about right, as I'm sure you have suggested today's game was either a free hit or an unwanted game without £s coming in for it.

Although 4-0, I think there are more positives than negatives considering the huge gap, for me we passed it better and rarely went long ball as we have on league one business. We were lacking in the final third but the difference of quality of opposition made that harder compared to league one opposition.

Anyone moaning today is either a wind up merchant or deranged
