Have to think Tuesday’s league cup game is in doubt

My guess would be that our game tomorrow will be postponed to reduce the risk of further infections showing up, but that if the rest of our squad subsequently test negative again then we'll get the go ahead for the Betfred games minus those six players.

Anyone know what the rules are regarding a club not being able to field a side in the League cup. Spurs obviously got a bye in the League cup down south wondered if we have similar rules. Would that result in 3 PTS and a 3 0 victory.[emoji23] .

That rule obviously would never apply to a team from our top division.....

I’m guessing the 13 players and you can play rule goes for the betfred?

I'm hearing the SFA & the SPFL are having an emergency meeting tomorrow to discuss allowing Kilmarnock to play any manny on Tuesday night to keep the integrity of Scottish football intact.

As punishment they should have to bring back Fasan imo

I was looking at the rules for this and there doesn't appear to be any specific mention. If you can't fulfil a fixture without good reason then you can forfeit it, but I would suggest that following public health advice probably does constitute a good reason.

Actually, scrap this, it says on the SPFL website that if we're unable to field a team then we'll forfeit the match, though it's not specifically in the competition rules. https://spfl.co.uk/news/spfl-statement-46963
