Kingsley is currently back living in Falkirk . His injuries over the last few years and lack of game time coupled with the Covid outbreak have led to a couple of moves falling through. It might be that signing a short term contract, say 6 months?, with Falkirk would work out for both parties. He gets to play football regularly and hopefully proves his injuries are behind him, the club benefit from having a player capable of playing at a much higher level. If something could be worked out and subsequently another club came in for him during the period of the short term contract then I don’t think Falkirk would stand in his way. Also I don’t think money would be an issue in this scenario, he will already be a wealthy young man from his time down South.

I’d give it a 25% chance of happening, fingers crossed.

50/50 now, fingers and toes crossed!

I'd imagine Laverty will go out on loan this season, Miller who albeit can play won't really be classed as one of the squad and then there's Sammon who ideally we don't want to have to rely on as he's gash. So another 3/4 signings gives us a squad of 20/21.

I'd imagine we'll have a Tuesday and Saturday game lined up for the next two weeks until we kick off competitively.

The Dundee game a week tomorrow that Dave Mac mentioned is the final friendly.  No point in playing the following Saturday as it would give us only three days rest before the season kicks off against Killie on 6th October.

Why would they offer Laverty a contract and then put him out on loan? I’d understand if he had two years left, but I can’t see him going out when he only has this year to break through

I think it's a case of the club sticking by one of their youngsters whilst he recovers from a serious injury and he'll be on peanuts. I'm happy to be proven wrong but I don't think he'll be near the first team.

Yep, the sound effects are woeful. Sometimes the delay after a goal was scored to the cheer was so bad they'd nearly kicked off again.

I wasn't specifically referring to the goals which are usually only about 3 or 4 times a game - sometimes never. If it's my team I'd be celebrating a goal anyway so would not hear the fake stuff so it a "mute" point (see what I did there?)

I meant the general crowd noise during the match, without that it's an awful watch IMO.  If you have skin in the game and it's your team playing you may well be able to live with it.

Fear & worry I’ve had since the Covid arrived. Just listened to our FM and the two chief medical guts, I,ll be amazed if this season isn’t halted or temporary postponed.
Who knows, if we can actually get the season started and get a few wins under our belt, and should we suffer any halt or postponement, we will be awarded the league if we’re top 🙄

Sorry if there is no testing it's only a matter of time until there is a spike amongst lower league footballers & the FM will shut us down immediately.

Doncaster will successfully argue for the Premiership and they will continue thus preserving their precious TV deal, and completely wash his hands of us - he's good at that.

Disagree. The background crowd noise just sounds weird and dislocated, artificial even. A bit like watching  EPL matches in the first place, imvho.

It's got better more recently but I still switch over to the red button (or whatever) on the rare occasion I tune in.

Surely if Kingsley's signing for us it'll be a years deal with an agreement in place that if anyone comes in for him in January he's free to leave. Watch him have a stormer tomorrow night and sign with Hearts on Wednesday.
