It's a very poor result but not seeing or knowing the stats, it might just have been unlucky.

Results don't matter in a preseason friendly. That and we had half a team out. Would have been more to have a look at the trialists.

Anybody got any names on the trialists. One's i've seen mentioned so far are Jonny Mitchell, Sam Ramsbottom(if it was him probably why we conceded) and Sioni Benham.

We only had half a team out, so it’s perfectly acceptable to lose to non league opposition?…
I can recollect the preseason shambles under Hartley’s new boys and the replies of knicker wetting. It didn’t end well.
Hopefully we will see rapid improvement in our next game....

First kick a bout of the season. Start of getting some match fitness and to look at a few trialists. Result means absolutely feck all.  All that matters is that we are ready to roll on the 17th of october when the real stuff starts.

We lost to Wick Academy 3-2 in a friendly the season we finished 3rd and won the cup.

No matter which way you paint it, any Falkirk team shouldn't be losing to East Stirling. I'd like to think we have another friendly pretty soon which is why it was a half arsed team put out. Doesn't say much for any of the trialists either.
