Burkes 36 ffs. Hes lost the vast majority of his pace and yet hickey couldnt keep up with him. To be a top class full back these days you need pace or you'll get nowhere. I just wish we were half as good at getting cash for mediocre players. Edited August 17, 2020 by Shadwell Dog -
Ranaldo Bairn
FFS Shadwell, are you not basically exactly describing what happened to a young Gary Naysmith at Ibrox when Crunchie destroyed him? GN went on to have a long and successful career. Edited to add f**k you @Bairnardo for saying what I wanted to, er, over an hour ago. Chris Burke is still a baller, might have lost pace but still can hurt teams, reminds me a bit of Latapy in no way as silky but a player you don't want to face.

We will get a big sell on clause and Shodwell will be absolutely fuming.

I used to work with this guy who would put a post like this on Facebook: “What a day I’ve had today”! We are both ex-pats living far away from home so you would then have all these people worried about him replying with things like “Oh no! what happened”? "Are you OK, have you had an accident”? “What’s wrong, is there anything we can do to help”? It would then come out that he had had nothing more than a flat tyre on his motorbike and he was late for an appointment. He was just a drama queen, craving attention. Why couldn’t he have just posted “Shit day today, got a flat tyre and missed an appointment”? But no, not dramatic enough for him. By the same token, posts like “Some really good news coming our way” and “is it about a sale if so I completely agree” somewhat bug me. If you know something and are at liberty to divulge the info, why not just share it with all of us please, OK? Not too much to ask, I hope? As I said, I am an ex-pat so never likely to be ITK and any news posted on here is appreciated. No offence intended and I hope none taken? Thank you.

This is basically the internet version of children in the playground chanting “I know something you don’t know” and stick their tongue out. If you know something you can share then by all means share it. If it’s something you’ve been told in confidence then act like a mature adult and post nothing. -

I suggest you lighten up a bit and realise that the sole purpose of these football forums is for the sole purpose of acting the complete opposite to a mature adult Edited August 18, 2020 by Ecosse83

As I said I'll happily put my hand up when he starts for Bayern Munich and say I was wrong but for me he'll be back playing for a hibs or aberdeen in a couple of years. Time will tell.

Give the guy a game, and his chance. After all that's what happened the last time and looked what happened. Frankie Gray Scottish International got ripped a new arsehole Crunchie had far more firsf team experience than sneddon who played very few games for camelon. He'll be a backup that you may see getting a chance in the challenge cup or any league cup dead rubbers.

Then we can really push the boat out and give our scouts credit for finding a local gem ?? ps. Apologies for being optimistic on this thread.

People who check in on Facebook at a hospital with no explanation - they are the worst. "What's happened!!??" , "Hope you're okay!" , "Stay safe , message me you're alright!" , "Oh God, hoping you are not badly hurt" Eventually we find out they are just visiting. Yeah but you also don't want people expecting too much of this boy either . He's hardly played at any decent level at all so will need to be eased in. Big difference between playing u21s with camelon and starting in league one. As I said i would expect him to get a run out in the league and challenge cups and then we'll know exactly what stage he is at. More difficult these days to integrate youngsters when there is no reserve team unfortunately.

Imagine getting that rattled by a transfer rumour. Honestly see this every time something like this is mentioned and people get raging about it. If they do know something, they probably can’t confirm it or make it public. If they don’t know something, who cares?
falkirkzombie
Lex away?He will sell, or has sold if rumours are true, no way he will dilute with the share issue and let money stay with the club, he wants cash.
