Reggie Perrin
Easier to blame others for our ‘misfortunes’ than accept that we are utter dugshite. I would suggest at least 90% of Falkirk supporting posters on here are fully aware how shite we are.

WestfieldBairn
“That’s where our focus must now lie, beginning with a demand for a start date for the new season from the SPFL. We cannot be stopped from playing and clubs in our league have indicated they are able to play. League One MUST start in a similar timescale to the Championship. The SPFL has no reason to further harm our club by delaying the announcement of our fixtures when announcing other leagues.“ Taken from Patrick’s statement. They seem to think all teams can play in our league from October.

It says “clubs in our league” which could be two or could be ten.
Guest
The boycotting of away games will somehow go worse than the proposed boycott of home games this season. It is embarrassing. We are not still in league one because of the Chairmen of Forfar or Peterhead

The rest can go f**k themselves
Super Tuesday
Budge is now only doing the best for her club while we roll over as usual. Where we deserved to be where we were at the start of the season, we should be exploring every opportunity for us and thinking only for us now. We never learn. Board statement Correct. We pissed about with that goon Mark Campbell for months wasting time and effort and look where we are now. In amongst the dregs still and no idea when we will kick a ball again. Hollow and uninspiring words IMO
Hughsie
I don’t really know what else the club can say at this point. Focus all energies on pushing for clarity on next season as soon as possible and get the house in order to get the job done on the pitch. We blew it last season. I’m actually quite relieved at the tone adopted here. I was worried it would be another tear stained tantrum like last time.

What clubs in our league can afford to sign up a squad for a short season on nothing more than a hope that crowds will be allowed back in October. Think if contracts are offered to players there will be get out clauses should the worst happen. The football association have got to come up with a support package should the worst happen and its closed door games. If they don't do that then some clubs might not think the gamble is worth it. Worrying times !
JulioBairn
The bit that gets me is in the last few years we seem to have endless supplies of money to bring in managers, sign as many players as we want, pay them all off, sack the manager and repeat. Even now as we face a 2nd season in the pits and the prospect of playing in empty stadiums, money seems to be no object. How come in the years we were challenging for promotion all we heard was excuses about budgets? Where was the money then? Its quite clear we were happy to stand still. “If you stand still, you go backwards...”

If you’ve listened to his interviews since taking chair, Deans has conducted himself impeccably compared to the previous lot over the past ten years. Yes there’s been howler after howler, over the last three seasons but since his appointment don’t think he’s done much wrong. Can I ask what he should of said in your opinion? I wouldn't criticize Deans for what he has said here but there is still a whiff of a "let us in the Championship coz we are a big club and can play" attitude when he says the SPFL must find "a format" for us to play in October. Don't beat about the bush Gary , tell us the format. Thistle's statement was much more clear & concise - we are in League One let's get it done.

I’m amazed no one’s mentioned 12-12-10-10 yet. That would seem to be a pretty obvious proposal that would get all the full time clubs into the top 2 leagues and make a 33 game championship possible. Surprised Head Of Reconstruction Proposals Anne Budge did not put this forward...…..for the good of the game that' she's so worried about

Gaz
Pretty disappointed by how many of our fans are giving it the ol' THEY NEED US MORE THAN WE NEED THEM language re: travelling supports / gate receipts. That's no different to the same arrogant, selfish, billy-big-baws language Sevco fans were using when they died,
