With the loss of so many young players as well that will be felt 5-6 years time standards in the game will continue to decline. As posted on this forum we have 10 players signed for next season so at least we have a core of a squad. No so let's give them some of their prize money the now to tide them over and the final amount in a few weeks after the uefa meeting, after some more in depth talks on the fallout from finishing the leagues early and once we have a clear idea of when next season may or may not start. Things should be a lot clearer by the beginning of may so no need to panic now. I reckon if you put a proposal for every club to get the minimum amount of prize money in that league straight away whilst further discussions are being held on the fallout of ending the leagues early it would pass no bother. How they fix the mess that causes is the question. I don’t support the proposal but think the vote will be incredibly close and will probably just get enough support. Football in Scotland is run by a bunch of clowns who are not fit for office. Whatever happens will not be in our best interests that’s for sure, but right now I really don’t care about that as there are much more important issues in the world to deal with. Better to spunk all your money on players and then get the begging bowls out when the shit hits the fan. If u go bust dont worry you only have to pay back a few quid to football creditors and can shaft all the rest. When it comes to the crunch the authorities will just help you out whilst those that are run well in a money sense get the square root of feck all. The only team with a game in hand is St Johnstone, and that's at Ibrox. Being confirmed in the top six is hardly as much of a big deal if the games aren't actually being played - they're not going to see the bigger away crowds which are one of the main benefits.
