Senor Bairn
Did Craig Moore not score a shit tonne in League 1? That would be a very good signing imho.

NavyBlueArmy1876
Pleased with the signing of Longridge. Just the kind of player we'll need to unlock teams sitting in in this league

Good signing ray x Pretty much this, we need that bit of magic. We should (hopefully) be dominating possession so it won't be as detrimental having a guy like LL who disappears in and out of games. He should have been kept on last year too although more of a backup option. Happy with this, let's get some backup defenders in and fill that subs bench!
Poet of the Macabre
Add Longridge to the numerous Falkirk signings this summer that should skoosh this division but would be no marks in the Championship.
MrDust
There is a reason Longridge has no club in August, the same reason he was in and out of our starting 11. I hope it's a one year contract and obviously that he does a job
Anthony Fitzgerald
How do we line up now with LL added to the mix? Sammon McManus. Telfer. Longridge Tidser. Gomis That's how I'd line up the middle of the park and up top. There's a stupid amount of players capable of assisting goals in our team. If we don't play like Barcelona and win the league by 50 points McKinnon should hang his head in shame [emoji16]McManus is our best striker, he came here cause he wanted to play number 9 after being shunted out wide at Ross County.

No idea why people seem to think we'll be playing with 1 up top either btw, very clear from pre-season that we'll be playing with 2 strikers and 1 in behind for league games at the very least Longridge is a great signing, will be interesting to see if he's evidence of some of the Campbell money filtering through or if he's a replacement for Johnston

Longridge and McManus can easily play a bit wider but still get in the 6 yard box. It's not rocket science.

It's not rocket science. It’s not rocket science but it’s bizarre to play your best striker and most likely goal threat in a position which he has been previously unhappy with.I’m not opposed to him being up top on his own with the following midfield Longridge Tidser ConnollyGomis TelferEveryone goes on about Tidser in this number 10 role at Morton when McKinnon came in, would be tempted to try him there rather than his 2 in a diamond, but would swap him and Telfer. However as McKinnon has been playing two up front would expect Longridge Tidser Gomis TelferEither as that flat four from left to right or the diamond with Gomis at the base and Longridge at the tip.Regardless of the above, wouldn’t be playing McManus out wide.
