Tidser could've played top 6 in the EPL.... Thanks for that

I see sarcasm isn't one of your strong suits. My very first response to you stated a big long spiel about how some players can still be one of the best players in the league despite their talents being maximised at that level, with Tidser falling in to that category in the Scottish Championship.

Doolan please.....

Signing for Dundee apparently. We thought we were getting him but chasing the big bucks it looks like.

You'll all be glad to know the players did have clauses that reduced their contracts if the club were relegated. Paton says his had been reduced to almost part-time levels.

Matched his ability then.

Are you going down the sarcasm card to escape now ?

It's hard to figure out sarcasm when Morton fans did suggest Tidser should be looking at EPL or English championship when he first left Morton for that 30 odd grand and not the six figure sum suggested.

The state Morton fans got into when Ray left also(reason you are still sniffing around here)makes it hard to decipher the Morton mood/mental state

Tidser is our player now, that is all that needs said now

Lunchtime quiz, a RB on their way (rumour) obviously has played with Morton but not Dundee Utd and was with another championship club last season.

Michael Doyle?

What’s the script with the Falkirk Herald posting about Leahy possibly coming back to only delete the article minutes later?
Some nugget at the paper read it on here or in that atrocious Facebook group and quickly realised his mistake after putting it out?

It was a stupid thing for him to say he was signing players that could play in the premier league, was never going to happen. Let's get re promoted then take stock of what we have. If we start with a core of 3 - 4 players that could get us in the premier we will have done very well. He has gone for experience at centre backs and midfield. Get an experienced pro at centre forward then we have a spine of a side. Mutch will start in goals it about time we produced our own goalkeeper. George Watson was the last one and 30 years is disgrace.

Geordie came into the team mid/ late 70s so you can add another 15 years to your estimate ( Darren Hill cannot possibly count as a real goalkeeper).

Also there was a post earlier today that mentioned “maybe better the devil you know” with regards to the current regime.

No!

If these people had the interests of the club at heart they would have negotiated seriously with the patrons/fans grouping months ago and we almost certainly would not be in this dire position.

Get them out of the club, they have nothing to offer except more failure.

Am no saying I am demanding the title next season. Just saying wur no helping ourselves.
Just asking for a bit of momentum to be challenging for top 4.
St Mirren basically done it when they won the title with about 4 months of it the season before surving relegation.
Ayr United last year continued their momentum. Queens in 13/14 when we beat them in the play-offs.

St Mirren weren’t relegated. They pulled off a once in a generation come back to survive on the last day, then stayed up, kept most of the players they recruited in January and pushed on with a manager better than this level.

What players at Ayr United in league one made you think they were gonna be challenging for the league/playoffs? Everyone ridiculed Shankland the last time he was at this level.

Queens are possibly the exception but even then they finished 4th. Players like Reilly and Holt ended up moving to premier league teams, Nicky Clark didn’t play against us in the championship with Queens.

Let’s concentrate on getting out this league and see where it takes us.
