BendtnerBairn
Anyone who thought Peter Grant was going to start for League 1 Plymouth was aff their nut tho surely? Then he moved clubs half way through the season probably low on confidence and fitness. Don’t think you can read too much in to his 9 apps this season. Needs to return home asap imo.

Senor Bairn
All down to the cruciate injury 3yr ago, a shadow of the player he was pre thatAye he was never the same after that. Was genuinely unplayable before that. Best centre half id seen in years. Maybe got carried away but I thought he was going to end up playing at the highest level before that injury. Didn’t he play a full 90 minutes at Ibrox with it as well?

Russ
Aye he was never the same after that. Was genuinely unplayable before that. Best centre half id seen in years. Aye he done it away to Livi and completed the rest of the game then completed the full game at Ibrox the next again week and that was the game we lost 1-0 with Billy King scoring in the last minute. Billy King ffs. That’s absolutely mental that he was able to play that long with his leg in absolute bits. Loved big Pete but aye that injury has done him. Don’t fancy him back at all.
Anthony Fitzgerald
Amazing that people wouldn’t want former players back to us for our league one campaign because they couldn’t get us promoted from the championship. These are probably the same people that w**k over the academy and like having players that know the club and have a connection with the club/fans.FWIW I think Grant is done, even for league one, but Baird has been a proven scorer in that particular league this season, and even if not first choice, would be handy in the squad.

Fae_the_'briggs
Is Baird not a coach or assistant manager at Forfar? Possibly get better money at Falkirk right enough but unless a coaching post was included in the deal would he really be interested on coming back to you?
kiddy
Liam Craig was shite with the style of football we were playing, short multiple passes when he struggled at times completing a 3 yard pass. Battling and set pieces were his strengthsHe's spent his whole career in the top division.[emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]

kiddy
Him and the rest of the team. Possibly not the best example. He's not much kop going back, no. Doesn't sound like he'll be back, but you just can't help get the feeling that it's going to be another season with centre halfs playing fullback. Even worse this year, when it's League 1 centre halfs. Tommy Robson, Schroedinger's Left Back. [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]
knee jerk reaction
Grant joins the list of our players who would've gone far higher in the game but for a serious injury, a real shame, player gave 100% for us.

WestfieldBairn
I think a lot of Baird’s work went unnoticed. When he was running around it forced defenders to hurry and ultimately launch it long where it gave us a chance of winning the ball back through winning the header or the ball being out of play.

WestfieldBairn
I think we should be having a look at Kyle Turner from Stranraer. Been tipped to move on to a full time club and I’d imagine he’ll have a lot to prove.
