The Falkirk FC Thread

Recommended Posts

You may well be correct on first point. I was only aware of MR saying he would step down, once his SPFL role ends. Perhaps you could ask this evening, if you are attending. You also assume the Patrons would vote as a block - far from certain. The MSG plus 20% would form a majority in terms of voting for board appointments.

SA and LIddell want to disappear too.

Of course the MSG are entitled to vote but you could make up any sort of combination to suit your argument.

As I said before fans can take this opportunity or not. But if we are still floating about doing nothing in this league as we have for the last 10 years let’s not moan too much about it when there is an opportunity to change things. We have an open door here. We should try and take it

I think the ordinary fans will. From the numbers talked about tonight it will cost probably ten pounds a month over 2 years. When you consider the other costs associated with following a football club every week that's not a lot. Particularly for the chance to bring about change.

I will be joining. I always said I would never buy shares as I spend thousands every year buying equipment to support FFC in other ways and I always said that was enough. However, this is different. If this scheme doesn't appeal to the average supporter then I honestly don't know what will.

The key in the short term is actually the Patrons. If the 560k Kenny wants from that group can come in then the whole scheme will fly.

Probably need 25-35 of those people to get to that number.

Can you buy a small amount of shares, say £100 worth?  And if so how do you go about it?

I vote Bairnardo for the media friendly chief exec and Marshmallo can be chairman as the criticism will simply wash off his hard shell.

Glad to see Falkirk copying the Pars and getting the fans involved. Imitation is the most sincere form of flattery.

Aw right, so Livingston and Dundee and Hearts should feel flattered aye?

Agreed, because they'll not only put in the majority of the cash but they'll do it in the fastest timescale. And if the average punter sees the scheme working then it makes it more likely they'll buy in.

I'm half-tempted to splash out and join the patrons just that I can vote against you if you run for one of that group's places on the BOD. :P

O’Hara has scored 3 goals in 67,857,201 seconds , & nearly a whole month of playing time without touching the ball.

If he is not jettisoned immediately from the club we will be relegated for sure. Bonkers.

Don't quite  think we're at the Zero P stage yet.
