Kidd is nowhere near good enough. Bauben will play one game and then a miss the next three, he could be standout at this level at this level but is seldom fit. Paton is on a decent run of form relative to his horrendous displays from August to October but in an ideal world he'd only be backup going forward. The midfield has been an area of chronic weakness since the loss of Alston and Vaulks over two years ago. As an absolute minimum we should be looking for at least one creative player, and one player who does not require a compass to locate the option box. Dumbuya I know nothing about but wouldn't expect McKinnon to punt his own signing. 18 man squad for the second half of the season: GK: New goalie, Mutch DF: Dumbuya, Robson, Brough, new CB, Harrison, McGhee, Muirhead CM: Paton, Kidd, Buaben WG: Petravicius, new winger, Dunne ST: Rudden, new striker x2 So, probably a minimum of 5 signings needed. A keeper, a centre back, a winger and 2 strikers. You want to get rid of our only creative midfield players in McKee and Irving and not replace them with anyone? Crazy stuff. Few would've been shocked to se us with no points in January with the players we have, so to get 11 is absolutely outstanding.
