Normally I know a day or two in advance, and occasionally, if an agent has said a player will sign when he returns from holiday, there's been times when I've known a week before. As a general rule, these things happen pretty quickly. A recent signing was released from his parent club on the Wednesday and we signed him on the Thursday evening.
