The Falkirk FC Thread

Well done to Alex Smith on a great result on Saturday. Absolute gentleman, deserves every bit of success possible. On another note, I would be shocked if Falkirk did not appoint Hartley as new manager. Having experienced his methods at Alloa, he is an excellent coach and would be a massive influence on the Academy. Imo he would take the club to another level.

Sorry mate, "Another Level" was a good 8 years ago. It's "Our Time" now.

Good luck with your interview Paul.

Not sure why Smith is said to be in interim charge but it's Kerr that's pulling the strings. It was Kerr that wanted to play McGhee at LB and Kerr that got Taiwo playing a bit deeper.

I think Kerr would do a very good job if he was given it for the rest of the season.

Not enough Kerrs in this post.

It wasnt a huge revelation of putting someone who can defend properly at left back, Gallachers times may come but when we are shipping nearly a goal a game down the left hand side, you have to act on it.

A Kerr appointment would follow the norm in how most managers are appointed in Scotland with a player coming to end of playing career and taking coaching badges, it would also be a cost cutting exercise too, already on the payroll

I have no problem with that as long as you/he stayed on the touchline and made cameos only [emoji106]
