Jimmy85
As has been mentioned before I don't feel guilty about any of the music I listen to. That being said I do get a few strange looks from my mates when I'm listening to The Cranberries, My Chemical Romance and a few others that escape me right now.
broo brazil yin
I have the entire back catalogue of Shakin Stevens on my Ipod. I can beat that, I've got the entire back catalogues of Nirvana, Blur, Manics and Foo fucking Fighters. The joys of a shared, external hard drive.
Diamonds are Forever
I was dragged along to see Take That at Hampden by my girlfriend (at least that's the official line anyway ) and they were excellent. I really like the first two albums they released since reforming and know pretty much every word, their latest one however, is pish. Basically I like their stuff without Robbie Williams. I don't think I have many guilty pleasures on my iPod, I think most of my stuff is pretty 'cool', but then I suppose everyone thinks that.
DomDom
MCR are only a guilty pleasure at a push. The Cranberries... that's just a bizarre choice, as is Avenged Sevenfold.
The Hero of the Day
Robbie Williams Five Backstreet Boys (hey! the haven't sold a 100 million for nothing btw!) But my ultimate guilty pleasure is Will Smith; the single reason rap is so mainstream today. The guy made rap accessible to teens and adults and in my opinion the guy can do no wrong. As I said I don't feel like they're guilty pleasures but most music fans are snobs by nature.

The Hero of the Day
Er yes they have. Just because somethings popular doesnt mean its gid. Whit? So because something is popular that means it can't be a guilty pleasure. Right everyone that said Take That and Robbie, GTF!!
Jupiter Jazz
Whit? So because something is popular that means it can't be a guilty pleasure. Right everyone that said Take That and Robbie, GTF!! You can have what you like as a guilty pleasure, I really couldnt care less. But you said about the Backstreet Boys ''they havent sold a 100 million for nothing'' and this is where I took exception, when they have no musical talent whatsoever. Popularity is not a yardstick for quality. To be honest ive no idea where you pulled this response from. DomDom
when they have no musical talent whatsoever. Being able to sing is having musical talent.
Jupiter Jazz
Being able to sing is having musical talent. I agree. Unfortunately these guys were pretty average singers -sorry then- limited musical talent.
