Hope he hits black ice on the way to sign his contract, then is pelted with bricks as he tries to get out the car. He turned up to his League 1 team pished. Dno whether to laugh or cry tbh As far as i know its him and Jol the two favourites for the job. If pardew does get the job i will not be back at a game until Fatty is gone. Gordon Dalziel? Shepherd has hardly covered himself in glory over some of his decisions. Sir Bobby being one. Not sure if it was Sir John Hall who was responsible for Gullit. I think a great deal of the schadenfraude at Newcastle's expense is thoroughly deserved by their fans' inability to differentiate themselves from sheep and their deluded attachment to King "Kevin" Keegan, an awful chequebook manager if ever there was one, as well as the continual calls for Alan Shearer to be manager. Alan Pardew It just gets better. I'm convinced Ashley has to be a closet Mackem. But when things like this happen, and it is brilliantly hilarious, it's hard not to have a glimmer of sympathy. The squad is certainly better than at least 4 teams and with players like Barton, Nolan, Carrol they have some genuine quality. I'm taking it on what I see this time. They're 12th in the league, and closer to a European slot than a relegation one. The team is reasonaable and despite the fact they've punted a decent manager, Pardew is no where near as bad as being made out. Last time round they brought in a series of jokers.
